Mugsy:

I was just double checking because I had thought that Augie was the 2nd highest behind IWU.  Thanks for the info on all the other schools.  Happy Holidays to all! Hopefully that is still considered p.c.

Redmen96

My wish for Santa,  to have Carthage in the playoffs again so my wife has no choice but to let me leave NY to see the Redmen.  Yes I know I said Redmen and not Red Men.  My helmet will always have feathers on it.

Happy Holidays to all.

We will always be REDMEN

Happy Holidays to all on the board. Be safe and merry while eating way too much extremely good food.

Merry Christmas to those who still celebrate Christmas!!  ;D  Happy Holidays to those that don't.  How's that for PC?  This has been as good a year for CCIW banter as I can remember.  Here's hoping for a healthy New Year for all.  My Christmas wishlist includes:

-NCC football conference championship
-Whip Mugsy in the CCIW basketball Pick 'em's
-haircut for Swider
-sub 500 season for Norm  ;)
-Notre Dame national Championship for Irish21 and I
-another White Sox Championship that Wash'd Up will enjoy.
-Titanbooster sighting
-MadSwede's greatest hits CD.
-Usee's ability to articulate football
-Pat Coleman autographed football
D3 National Champions 2019, 2022, 2024

Why would you want to ruin a perfectly good football? :)

Was sorry to hear about the tragedy with Tony Dungy and his family. He has my prayers and hope he can overcome the emotional tragedies.
CardinalAlum- I like the list.  I agree Swider needs to get a haircut and Peltz also.  Two great guys, but when I first met them, I was kind of scared.  ;D
-I was happy to see the Navy win their bowl game.  I have a personal liking to the Service Academies (Navy/Army/Air Force) and my brother-in-law is in the Navy off of San Diego.

The Football Coaches meeting is scheduled for February 21. So, you might begin to hear some "unofficial" word on medical redshirts for CCIW players sometime in late January or early February.

CardinalAlum,

The Notre Dame Nat'l title would be nice and might actually be a possibility in the next 5 years, no one thought Weis would get the Irish to a BCS (C is optional) bowl his first year. Plus it must be nice to have 3 Super Bowl rings as recruiting tools. Good luck to the Irish in Tempe, I know I want to see them win big.

As for a repeat Sox title, nice for their fans, but why don't we spread the love around the city and get the Bears or the Cubs a title this year. The Cubs I know is a strecth but hey we can always hope until next September comes around. The Bears on the other hand, if that D plays the way it did Sunday and the 8 weeks prior to the Steeler loss who knows what might happen.

No matter what all of you celebrate over the weekend I hope that it involves both family and friends to enjoy company with, because lets face it that is what the holidays should be about, not trying to decide what exactly we as the American Public should call it.  Once again Happy Holidays to the CCIW board.

Is the Spencer decision  up to the 8 CCIW Coaches or up to the NCAA on the final yeah/neah?  If it is up to the 8 CCIW Coaches I hope they LET HIM PLAY! :o
It would make the CCIW very exciting and why not?  He's a kid and you only get to play D-3 football for such a short time.

no, spencer's eligibility is up to the NCAA.

irish21

Alum...a national championship would be nice for the Irish and so would one for a CCIW team!

I tired of the politically correct crap - Merry Christmas to all and have a joyous and prosperous New Year!

I hope everybody had a great Christmas ( or whatever Holiday you celebrate) and didn't eat too much.  Now that I am done playing I have no problem gaining weight, but I couldn't gain any weight if I tried during my playing days.  ;D
