Since we're on the trivia topic I will throw in some doozies

A) Which mlb brother tandem ( could be 2,3, or 4 brothers)  account for more home runs than any other?
B) Which US city's sports teams ( hint nfl, nhl, mlb) all wear the same colored jerseys?
C) Which 5 mlb teams have never changed their base home jerseys?
D) Which NCAA Schools have won a Nat'l Champ. in both football and basketball?
E) Name the 4 LA Dodgers ( 1970 decade, not sure on which year)  with 30 or more home runs

A) My guess would be Henry and Tommy Aaron, just a guess.
C) Whoever they are, they must smell pretty bad by now. :D
E) Steve Garvey, Ron Cey, Reggie Smith, Dusty Baker. Not a guess.

For B, since you left off NBA, the only city I can come up with with all the others would be Pittsburgh.

And for A, I'm pretty sure it is still Hammerin' Hank and bro.

Don't know which CCIW school, however ( at times) our dorm floor was one big Animal House.  We would sneak in ( non educational) dispensers and have beverage games starting on Thursday and go to Sunday.   I miss the good ol' college days.

Former D3, thank you for the kudos, I am a trivia nut and luv trivia about the colleges, large and small.  Wabash was very special to me and my wife - I only left there to take a head coaching job elsewhere.  In my heart I will always be somewhat of a LITTLE GIANT - their D3 football tradition is, needless to say - very rich indeed!  Ah and I might add, while  I was at 'Bash, WE NEVER LOST THE BELL!!!!!  Memories I treasure in a 32 year coaching career!

Since I am on here, let me addsome trivia of my own and we'll put a D3 slant to it:

(1) What college's football stadium is named for alum-former NFL coach Chuck Knox? (Remember - D3!)

(2) 'Bash alums best not miss this one - who was the ONLY student-athlete drafted by the NFL & NBA in the 1982 drafts (he played I believe 15 years in the NFL as a TE)

(3) John Carroll College in Ohio sports two former Baltimore Colts as alumni - one went on to be a famous coach - can anyone name them?  (1 easy-1 toughie)

(4) What former NFL QB played his college football at now defunct Milton College in Wisconsin?

(5) Easy one Augie Dogs - what former NFL QB played his college football in Rock Island in the late 60's?

(6) What Illinois Wesleyan alum played pro hoops for the Supersonics?  (Easy one for the Green Weenies - can you tell I had two sons go to Millikin - one who ran track - the other track & football- I always hear that term used to describe IWU in my house)

(7) And finally what TWO Millikin alums played for the NFL Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers?

Lets see who can get them all!

Oklahoma, Pittsburgh, Ohio State, Syracuse, Michigan & Florida for National Championships in football and basketball. Add the Sooners, Buckeyes and Wolverines for a National Championship in baseball as well!!!

I'm so confused by all these new pages! I had this on the Central Region baseball page. If I wasn't so gray, I would have thought I had a blonde moment!!!

One of the answers to 3 is Don Shula...I'm guessing that's the easy one.

You are welcome.  BTW, here is ? for you, if you can refresh my memory, as I can't remember their names.  Who was the Wabash QB and RB tandem on the '77 Stagg Bowl runner-up team?  Those two were very talented and part of the reason why Wabash went so far that year.  I thought they ended up getting free agent NFL tryouts.  As I recall, they were being scouted/watched closely that year by some NFL team scouts.  Do you remember them?  Thanks.

Addendum:  we probably should be discussing this over on the NCAC board. ;D  However, since you are a former 'Basher and now in Illini[CCIW] country, I guess this is okay here.  Sorry about that CCIW guys.
