Good luck with that. Did you check Healy vs Wheaton last year? Healy is is a dramatically different player this year as in better.

Look, if your guys can hold those two to less than 100 yds combined your gonna win the game.

Yes, I was at the IWU @ Wheaton game last year. Healy did very little in that game, just as he did very little against Wheaton in 2018.

Healy led IWU in receiving yards and TDs in 2017 and earned all-conference honors. He's better this season, though his (and Bauer's and Walsh's) stats have been padded by the fact that -- unlike Wheaton and North Central -- IWU has struggled to put teams away in the first half. Wheaton's McWilliams has 19 TDs, but he'd probably have 25+ if his defense wasn't able to completely shut down the likes of Millikin, Carroll, and North Park (and if he didn't have to share time with Peterson running the wildcat).

Healy has been kept in check against playoff-caliber teams the past two seasons. But he's obviously a very good WR with a tremendous height advantage. Between him and Walsh and Alexander and Dooley, NCC will have its hands full on Saturday.

For Wheaton Fans huge game in Kenosha tomorrow. The Redmen are a wounded animal and as such, very dangerous. They also have a strong DLine which has been the Thunder Kryptonite this season.

If they win and beat Elmhurst they position themselves as potentially the strongest 2 loss team if that becomes a thing. For the Thunder to get into position in the North they need help.  All of the following probably has to happen:

IWU beats NCC
Baldwin Wallace lose this weekend to ONU and beat JCU next weekend.
Wabash loses to DePauw (blasphemy! Sorry LG fans)
That puts Witt in as AQ and elevates a 2 loss team into the north fairly high.  Would also help if NCC list close and stayed ranked.

So your saying there's a chance!

Already feeling the love and good vibes coming from Thunderville today!

I see the IWU/NCC game as basically a pick 'em.  This seems like a very even matchup that will come down to good ole fashion execution, and which team minimizes big mistakes.

I feel good going into this game with Brandon Bauer at QB.  He is a really smart player who makes big plays.

Should be a great game.

I think its fair to acknowledge the job Norm Eash has done over the past few years at IWU. I know Norm is an easy target to dislike in the league but since 2014 when the Titans went 4-6 and many (me included) thought the end was near for Norm and IWU was headed for a few seasons of mediocrity, Norm has put together a 30-7 record going into the game today. That includes a playoff last year when it wasn't thought he had a team that could compete with Wheaton and NCC and this year most thought (I picked them 4th in the league) they would struggle.

Eash lost Mike Murray as DC and brought in Jeff McDonald who has been an outstanding DC in his two years. He has also recruited well and stocked IWU with talented young players. We are all quick to get on Eash and I think its appropriate to acknowledge the good job he has done the last few years to bring IWU to the brink of an outright Championship.

No worries.  I know it isn't personal this time of year.   :)

Can anyone get this game feed from IWU to not keep buffering every 10 seconds?

No. I had to switch to radio.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna quit.  I missed the IWU TD pass.  Then just to pi$$ me off, it DIDN'T buffer and miss the kick-off runback! ;D

Can't tell if this is an IWU issue or a Stretch issue.  Awfully frustrating.

I think the Stretch network crashed. Can't get into any of the games airing on it. Teams need to switch over to live broadcasts on YouTube.

Due to whatever was going on with Stretch today, I only saw the 1st half - which was pretty even except for the big 93-yard kickoff return that put NCC up 7.

Sounds like the 2nd half was all Cardinals.

Congrats to NCC.  Hoping IWU can take care of North Park, as winning a share of the CCIW title would be a really big deal to the Titans.

Cardinal turnovers kept it close in the first half.  Titan turnovers were the big difference in the second.
