Gotta say I was rooting for UWW to advance, mostly due to some SJ supporters who can't keep their feet out of their own mouths. The griping about Swider's post-game comments was annoying and the ensuing Sager-gate proved how salty some of them are. They can dish it out in victory but can't take it in a loss, evidently.

Amazing where NCC has come from. When I got there in 00 the football team was an embarrassment.

I was planning on making the 2.5 hr drive to Shenandoah if they made it but didn't realize it was on a a Friday night smh. Looks like I'll be watching on tv!

We must live in the same neighborhood.  I just realized the same unfortunate circumstances this morning.  Would've driven over from SATX, but already have a prior engagement Friday night.

Any guestimates as to what this year's Stagg Bowl attendance might be? I suspect it might be a little lower due no Texas or closer regional located team playing this year as was UMHB. However, you never know.

Depends largely on how they count attendance.  Some locales count all players, sideline personnel, gate and concessions workers, etc.  Some count only 'fans in the stands'.  If the latter I'll guess several thousand less than last year.  (Of course, who can predict how many northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin fans just want a few days away from the cold?!)

Current forecast for Friday in Shenandoah, TX is showers, with a high of 67 and a low of 46.

The Cardinals say "let it rain." After all, they did rather well in the drizzle and showers in Allentown on Saturday.  🌧  😉

The Cardinals could have beaten that team on the North Pole.  We hope to provide you a different type of challenge on Friday night.

The Cards know they'll have their hands full with your top level team, bleed purple, but they gladly accept any challenges thrown their way. They've been in playoff mode and accepting all challenges that are inherent with that status since the Wheaton game.

I'm pulling for NCC simply because D3 as a whole could use the reminder that it's possible for someone not wearing purple to win a title.  A little fresh blood would be good for the entire division.

Wondering if the home designation entitles the Cardinals to choose what color jerseys they'll wear and, if so, whether they will go with their white, red, or black ones. My money is on white.

I read on Twitter that perhaps ESPN had input on the home/away designations.  Perhaps they wanted certain uniform colors?  Pat, any insight on this?
