I hope for a great performance tonight from NCC and that injuries are not part of the story.
NCC, in my opinion, is most deserving of back to back championships- so go out and get it done.

Btw USee or anyone, do you feel Beesley will be assigned to Jordan most the game or will they move him around?

I fully expect him to be assigned to Jordan.

I think it depends. NCC plays a mix of a combo coverage where Beesley takes 1 WR bump and run man and the rest of the secondary zones the formation. Beesley almost always lines up to the short side of the field. Jordan is usually the widest receiver (I haven't seen him in the slot) and NCC will defintely have Beeseley follow Jordan at times, even to the wide side.

NCC also plays a cover 2 zone at times and then you will see Beesley lined up in an off-man position with outside alignment. They do this against 2 WR looks into the short side of the field a lot.

So I expect 21 on 21 about 75-80% of the time and certainly in any crunch time situations.

But in a must have situation (3rd downs, GL, etc) You can bet your last dollar Beesley will be on Jordan no matter where he is lined up.

North Central looking lost on defense so far.

NCC by 10, nobody in d3 can stop that rushing attack.

I may stand corrected on this, that MHB front 7 is way better than I thought they were.  Lots of game left to play though

Started getting outside the tackles and opened up the inside a bit. Defense needs to step up.

Yeah NCC is getting it figured out, the online was getting beat on the first few drives but they are making room now.

Gonna have to come out of that shell a bit more on D and make them beat you on the ground. Too much space for the receivers.

On offense just keep doing what they've been doing since 2nd quarter. Not a lot of pressure from MHB on drop backs.

What a matchup!

And that, as Carl Spackler would say, is all she wrote.

UMHB all that was advertised and more. Need a huge 4th quarter to pull anything out. Drawing on the unbridled optimism of the kids of former teammates around me at the moment.

The Cru are on a completely different level tonight.  The Cards are continuing to fight and have had their moments, but credit where it is due -- UMHB has been really really impressive.

Tough night for the Cards.  UMHB is REALLY good.  Very impressive performance tonight.  Great season for NCC.  You guys did the CCIW proud this year.

Congratulations to the Cardinals. You might be feeling down now, but you had one amazing season. Central knows how you feel, we felt we had a shot at the half, but UWW played lights out the second half against us as UMHB did tonight. We would have loved to have been playing tonight, you were one of only two teams in the most populous division doing it. Keep your heads up!
