Lately all I gain is weight!  Accusations?  I didn't accuse you of anything except being who you are!    I question my own integrity, so adding you to the list doesn't hurt me!!  8)  It's almost 3:00. You should get to practice.  Specialists are probably on the field already.  I will stay here in my office and continue to not be a coach.  I will merely stay in my recliner and be the best armchair QB I know!

The fact is, that this board is not the "ideal" place for a Coach and/or Administrator to be, bust because of the gossip, dirty birds, and strong opinions expressed on the board.  Unfortunately, Coach Jones kind of proved how devastating the outcomes can be, if you spend too much time on the board.
Titanbacker/Fightn' Titan-- We had to practice on that field the rest of the year.  That was a challenge!  Literally, the field look like a bad rough on a golf course, and/or a dog-runway  that was never kept up.  I am so happy that EC decided to go with the Astroplay after that season.
Now with the Astroplay-- I love how Wheaton painted their endzones with the sharp orange/blue and Wheaton Thunder on the East/West end zones.
Elmhurst didn't paint the endzones b/c they play soccer on the field also.  IMO, I would have preferred navy blue/white endzones with Elmhurst written in white.

I agree Jaybird- if I was a coach I would not tell my coaches that they could not post on these boards but I would strongly discourage it. What's the weather forcast for Sat.game?

It's not about disagreement.  It is more that it is a well known policy that coaches and players should not be posting on this board or any other board.  It provides too much locker room material for opposing teams and is really a poor reflection on the program.  I'm willing to bet if Coach Journell knew about this, he wouldn't be too happy.

I know a Wheaton coach checks on this board every so often to make sure Wheaton players are not posting at anytime.  If it isn't already common sense, I know it is crystal clear to all Wheaton coaches that they are in no way to post to this or any other D3 board.

I coached for 5 years at Wheaton, but waited 9 years before I actually posted anything here.  Granted D3Football.com (or the internet for that matter  ) didn't exist when I was a player or coach. 

Point is... I wanted to make sure there was considerable distance between myself and the coaching staff and team.  I don't want anything I say to be perceived as coming directly from the program.  That said I also want to be a good reflection on the progam, so I strive to never post anything that will embarass the coaches, program or school.  If I have inside information, I will not post it without approval from the coaches or if it will be viewed negatively in any fashion.  If I ever cross the line, I would stop posting and revert to being a "lurker".

I totally agree that they should not be posting on these boards, and i never would put myself or my team in that situation.  But it is up to the head coach to make sure his assistant coaches are aware of policy. ust because you and I wouldn't doesn't meen someone else wouldn't
