Howdy all,

I asked this a couple pages earlier, but recieved no reply.

Is there going to be a way to listen to the D3football.com Game of the Week broadcast while attending the game?  I know I can listen to NCC or Wheaton's call, but I thought it would be interesting to here Pat's view of things.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Whats your deal? Are you from North Park or something and you think because your 3-0 you can start talking? I can see your a big trash talker. Im sure you watched a lot of games from the sidelines or maybe even the stands. However I do agree with you quote about NCC. Yeah they are a very good team but they have to beat a one of the big three this year (Carthage, Augie, or Wheaton). Like I said, those are the big three for this season because of the success they had last season. That can change from year to year.

Ok im ready for a black and blue season this year in the CCIW. This year teams in the CCIW seem to be more even than ever. Every CCIW game must not be taken lightly.

Nice to see B. Fox, Carthage, and the CCIW mentioned on the front page. Nice job

Boy it sure seems NCC is getting slammed in the last few days.This sounds like the last few years when the topic of top 4 and bottom 4 teams in cciw was discussed.NCC moves into top 4 a few years ago and everyone says they have to do it more than 1 year,they did.Give em a little respect.Last year they manhandled augie and did pretty well against wheaton without kniss and holden.I can hear it now if they win saturday.Ncc has`nt beat augie yet or ncc has`nt beat carthage yet.Prediction: NCC by 14.

Congratulations!  You have won the coveted "Paranoid Poster of the Week Award" (CCIW division - some Wabash poster over in the NCAC board beat you hands-down for the national award)!

Aside from Zorba (who comes across as a rather bratty 18-year-old who may or may not know anything about football), I don't recall anyone who has 'slammed' NCC.  The usual view has been that Wheaton (as three-time defending champ) deserves the nod until proven otherwise - and SO FAR, NCC has not proven otherwise.  NCC seems to be getting the respect they are SO FAR entitled to - over in 'pickems', several posters have selected them for Saturday, and the Wheaton picks usually only have them as 2nd, 3rd (or even 4th) most confident selection.  For a game against the defending, defending, defending champs, I'd say that was 'respect'!

[BTW, is there a story behind a handle of 'sica-sica'?]

My bad. I was a little fired up and I said the first thing that poped into my head. I do respect NP and I am happy for them. Its good when all the teams in the CCIW do well in non-conference play. Hey they played us (Carthage) tough last year. They should have beat us. They came to play and we didnt. Thanks to Brett Barnes, who had three INT's and returned the last one for the winning TD (Final: Carthage-13 NP-10), him and the defense won that game that we should have lost. North Park is going in the right direction and they will win a CCIW game this season. Once again no disrespect I just said it the wrong way.
