Animal House, Blues Brothers, Taking Care of Business,  basically anything with a Belushi in it are good movies.  One of my favorite scenes is where Jon Belushi (Animal House) is in his Toga and is walking down the stairs to where that "nerd" is playing the guitar.  He smirks and then bashes the guitar into the wall.  That scene and then the scene wear he peers into the Sorority Pillow Fight, loses his concentration and then falls to the ground.

If the problems occur only for a half, could it be the halftime adjustments are lacking at EC?  Or others are outadjusting the staff?  With Coach Harris there, I can't believe this would happen!   (sorry, couldn't resist)

Hey Hey, North Central is one win away from ending a 46 year drought and winning the CCIW.  Is Jesse Vail still alive?  And if so, does anybody know if he is going to be in attendance for next Saturday's game?

CardinalAlum-- Coach Harris' antics/shenanigans aren't the problem and really I haven't heard his name mentioned at all lately.  There is 1 name, and again out of respect for the Bluejay's program I am not mentioning any names/positions,  that keeps on coming up in discussions.
I don't think it is halftime adjustments or lack there of, as much as being willing to go "off the golden road" so to speak,  and not be as predictable.
Every coach has an ideal program and an ideal set of plays he wants to run.  Does that mean you HALF TO CALL that play?  No of course not.  I have yet to see EC's (coach) veer away from the conservative "golden road" and try a guts call.  Tim Lester would and that is how we were able to win a couple of close games during his tenure.  Plus, the talented "skilled" players, fed off of his gutsy demeanor.
I have seen Mike Swider and (occasionally) Jim Barnes take gambles at segments of the game, to try and break up the monotony and catch the other team off guard.  EC is too Bashful when it comes to this.

I regards to the regional rankings and 1st Round Play-off sites, I don't think Concordia-WI will be able to host because of their facility. Their press box is in worse shape then the old duck blind of Carthage '04. Hopefully this will allow a CCIW home play-off game. This has to be an issue concerning any CUW fan or player. Home field advantage(especially on the shores of Lake Michigan in Nov.) plays a tremendous factor on the out come of a game.

Wow,  that is the first I have heard of this.  That sure would make things interesting!

 Talking with some of the parent's on Sunday, there is a bad buzz going around about the Offensive playcalling.  Without naming any names/ideas the overall theme is that Elmhurst offensive coaches  is too conservative and not willing to gamble.  

jaybird...what am I missing here? "Without naming any names" How many coaches do you have calling plays at Elmhurst? Unless I'm interpeting that statement incorrectly, your comment has to be singling out the OC for Elmhurst - doesn't it?

It's true the press box is garbage, but CUW has had plans in the works for new facilities for next year.  This ought to speed things up not being able to host a playoff game when you get the chance.  There has been talk of moving to another place in Milwaukee if possible.  I gotta say I don't like the prospect of having to play NCC again because it is very hard to beat a team twice, not to mention taking away home field advantage.  but hey it should still be a great match.
