2 red zone INT'S could be 14-14 !!  I would put Ullrich in and see if he can change the momentum.  Sounds like Chupp is "nervous" once he gets near the endzone.

Since I'm not watching the game, I can't know for sure, but it sounds like Chupp is running for his life on virtually every pass.  That said it is inexcusable to force a pass into coverage in the redzone.  If you are on the run, throw it out of bounds or somewhere where the defense absolutely can't get it.  You aren't going to get into the MUC redzone too many times, so you need to make the most of it.

Mugsy, would you agree that Wheaton seems to be playing "smarter" against MUC this time?  I know they have played MUC enough to know the Raiders' offense.
I would put Ullrich in to start the 2nd half. If anything, just to see if Zach can change the flow and get the offense clicking again.  Sounds like Studebaker and the defense are keeping their team in the game.

Hard to say... 2 INT's in endzone is definitely not smart.  The defense has done ok against the pass, but is getting shreaded on the run.  Kmic is averaging over 10 yards a carry.  So far only MUC has stopped MUC - other than one INT by Wheaton.

Ullrich was in for one series and Wheaton moved the ball... eventually the drive stalled.  I would put Ullrich in at this point.

Chaz Black initially was very effective with over 6 yards a carry.  In the 2nd quarter it sounds like MUC made some adjustments as Black had negative yards for the quarter (unless he had a good run while I lost the play by play connection).  I'm not sure how Wheaton got down into the MUC redzone so fast at the end of the half...

Well, there is 30 minutes left to play and Wheaton is still in striking distance.  I think it is imperative that Wheaton gets a TD on the board early in the 2nd half, to show MUC that they are "in" the game.  Hopefully the Thunder can make it happen.
I assume it is 20-6 at the half at Capital?

What has me nervous at this point is that Wheaton has played MUC tough 2 of 4 times through the first half.  Back in 1995 it was 14 all and in 2003 (I think) it was 6 all.  MUC came out in the 2nd half in 3 of the 4 previous games and absolutely abiliterated Wheaton.

Wheaton needs to change that... obviously.

MUC 31 plays for 211 yards.

Jorris 3 of 5 for 41 yards

Interception Wheaton... returned by March to the MUC 40 yard line.  Sounds like he almost returned it to the house. Ok... big play, not lets cash in.

Mugs, it sounds like Pete's injury and Chupp's very weak play has really put us behind the 8 ball.  But a 14-0 deficit an be overcome - with the right QB.  Let's give our next year's QB his chance to win this one.

Chupp QB draw down to the 17... 4th and 1.  Wheaton is going for it.  Timeout Wheaton.
