Sounds like another strong performance by the Thunder!  Congrats on another great victory!  Any news on Rocky and why he didn't play in the fourth?

Its a final--Great job by Gordon Mann on D3.com broadcast.

Wheaton 45 Franklin 28

Rupp threw 3 picks.

Ittersagen with an INT for a score, a Kick return for a score and some big tackles including a huge hit on Franklin WR at the goal line to make Franklin settle for a FG and a 10-3 score.

Wheaton ran for 220 yds on Franklin. Gingg with 145 yds and Hersey with 70+

I hope Wheaton was just resting Gingg late.

Good job Wheaton! Wheaton is playing great ball and has nothing to lose next week against Mount Union... that's a new set of challenges all together, but it's been a fun playoff run so far!

KYGrizzly

Congratulations Wheaton, Good Luck next week against Mount Union.

Its a great testament to Mike Swider and the Thunder that they have won all of their playoffs outside of Alliance. They have validated the committee's choice and if nothing else they are the champions of Indiana!!  :D

I see ya Wheaton Thunder....... you give North Central the game and lose to Elmhurst just for added affect, then you get into the playoffs and play awesome.  :)  The ole' playing possum during the regular season trick..... I'll remember this.. ;)

Congrats on a great run through the North Bracket!!!!

Beat Mount!  You now have your shot.

Ittersagen is pretty special.

Why should you go for it on 4th down?

Hats off to Wheaton.  Great play on both sides of the ball and on special teams.  Good luck next week in Alliance, OH.

Pete Ittersagen has really played well the last 2 weeks. Wheaton's running game was the nuts and bolts today but Ittersagen was the difference. Great game by Pete. He will now get his chance on the biggest stage short of the final game--in Alliance.

Congrats to the Thunder. Keep it going against Mount!!

Congratulations to Wheaton for beating the elements and the Grizzlies today...

It sounds like 12 played a big part in the success on D and Special teams today.  2 touchdowns for a player that isnt on offense is very impressive.

It sounds like the Thunder did a great job of capitalizing on Franklins mistakes which will win you alot of football games.
Congrats to Franklin, definitely a program on the rise.

It will take a perfect game and a high level of emotion to beat the Raiders next week.

Good luck to Wheaton, who like USee said, continues to validate their selection into the playoffs.

That guy was everywhere. He truly was the difference maker.  He also had another bone jarring hit on the FC running back.  Stopped him cold in full run.

I guess it is true what they say, big players step up in big games.   Hopefully he has just as big of an impact next week.

That being said, it takes 11 players on defense, so hats off to the entire Thunder team for the job they did on Rupp.

Franklin really comes out in the 2nd half. Good luck Thunder!

I feel sorry for the person who deducted karma after this post cheering Wheaton on. I truely hope you feel important, or bigger, or better, or whatever it is you want to feel you sad piece of ..............
It always amuses me how people play games "with themselves" with this stuff!

Mr. Ypsi

Any chance the coaches can convince the Thunder that Alliance is in Indiana? ;D
