Any chance the coaches can convince the Thunder that Alliance is in Indiana? ;D

Rolling Thunder! Congratulations Wheaton on a great win today. Good luck next week against the Raiders.

Congrats to Wheaton on a big win today.  3 wins on the road in the playoffs is an impressive achievement.  Sounds like the D stepped up today and the rushing game was able to grind out considerable yardage, just what Wheaton needed to do to beat FC. Good luck next week on the trip to Alliance.

I checked the d3sports.com "members list" - Thunder Mom is no longer registered.

Wheaton fans, the last team to beat MUC in the playoffs in Alliance was the 2004 Pool C UMHB team that won all four playoff games before the Stagg on the road.

Good luck!!!  ;)

lol, my brother's last season was like 5 years ago.... The fact that you guys still remember my mom and her, uh, very emphatic take on the fact that Wheaton had a chance to beat you is actually hilarious.

P.S. I love you too USee  :-*

Pete Ittersagen has really played well the last 2 weeks. Wheaton's running game was the nuts and bolts today but Ittersagen was the difference. Great game by Pete. He will now get his chance on the biggest stage short of the final game--in Alliance.

I'm sure no one wants it more either, especially after what happened to Pete last time the Thunder went to Alliance, stopping Kmic for a loss on the first play from scrimmage but breaking his leg and ending his season in the process. Hopefully a healthy and determined Ittersagen who is playing the best football of his career at the right time will keep the game close enough to give the offense a chance. The key for the offense is not turning the ball over. We had our chances in 2006, but it seemed like every time we got it in the redzone disaster struck. The way this team is playing right now though, I would be disappointed if they don't at least make a game of it.

The General Public

It's about time that Ittersagen started playing well.  I feel that he had an abysmal regular season, except for the Bethel game.

You may want to think about changing you're screen name because I'm quite sure the actual general public who follow D3 football would greatly disagree with this statement.

Just got back from Franklin IN.  There will be other posts describing the carnage on the roads in Indiana.  Semi Trucks were off the road everywhere.  Very Icy slippery roads.  Soo.
First of all I would like to thank the great state of Indiana and there finest for my personal escort on I-65.  I happened to go for a quick rest stop right when I got on I-65 then got back on the road right behind a state trooper who thought the conditions justified 25-45mph.  My snow driving experience started after a 10-2am shift at UPS many decades ago, driving the beloved Ford Pinto with a hole in the driver side floor.  So I learned to hydroplane on a foot of snow at 3 o'clock in the morning.  Also me and 5 of my HS friends had a short stint at stock car racing.   Soo my idea was the posted speed limit was the OK speed limit.  Finally after the Indianapolis pace car (state trooper) stopped for a car accident - racing at Indy began again.  Or normal everyday driving.
PS I was playing Hagars I can't drive 55. ;D
