Some of the best people I know are Packer fans.  The Bears, however, are my team.  Haven't been able to wipe the smile from my face since the Cutler trade.  The key words here regarding your future bride are football fan.  Sounds like a strong foundation to build a marriage on.   ;) :D ;D

Congratulations to Pete and his family who supported him throughout his Wheaton career.   People seem to be forgetting that Pete is also a punt coverage specialist.  Most of the time he was double teamed and at least once triple teamed to try and prevent him from getting down field to no avail.  He has a natural knack of getting down field, making the tackle and downing the ball inside the ten.  Go show them what you can do - like we used to say in the stands about Pete "Don't tug on Superman's cape". ;)

PS Congratulations to you and your future wife Jaybird.

Ittersagen has my vote....after watching my Little Giants fruitlessly try to chase him down in C'ville in the second round this past season, I'm convinced he's got the goods to make a League roster sooner rather than later.  Good luck and congratulations!

Ittersagen's bio now up on the Jaguar's website.

My favorite part is clicking on the personal tab.  I get a mental image of some female trolling the website looking for pro football players to date.

Haha, the personal tab is hilarious. Attention, Pete is single!

Is there any truth to the rumor that Wheaton College will hire North Parks OC j. davis ? If so, is there any word on who would replace him at NPU? And why would wheaton hire someone unproven considering how bad NPU has been on both sides of the ball. Im sure they had people with a better resume apply for the job. :-*

I don't know about the accuracy of the rumor but I would think NPU being "bad on both sides of the ball" has a lot more to do with the players than the coaches. If Wheaton did lure Joe Davis from NPU I would think his success at NPU with a talent like Shelby Wood and his resume as QB coach at Wayne State and as an outstanding player at Adrian as well as professionally would qualify him for many coaching jobs.

If this is true, I am sure it won't help the NPU/Wheaton relations among coaches and fans.  8)

I think that you fell for the troll bait, USee. Zorba's annual gratuitous summer potshot at NPU came a bit early this year. ;)

Pete is seeing some action at the Jaguars's mini-camp this weekend.  From the Jaguar's website:

David Garrard tried to go back to Mike Walker, again on the sideline, and the ball was picked off by Pete Ittersagen. The pass was off target, and Ittersagen took full advantage making a nice move to gain the advantage and haul in the pass.
