Dont recall seeing this posted yet, Ittersagen suffered a concussion 5 minutes into game against Cardinals.

Yeah... it was covered briefly.  He missed most of last week, which is a problem for someone who is fighting an uphill battle for a roster spot.  He needs as much playing time as possible.  Being on the shelf for a week hurts...  Hope he returns to full speed as soon as possible without putting himself at risk.

Update from Chiefs camp:

QuoteWith Tamba Hali out of practice, Andy Studebaker ran opposite Mike Vrabel with the first-team. Studebaker typically backs up Vrabel at the left outside linebacker position, but Vrabel moved to the right side in Hali's absence.

Hmmm... I wonder if the front page of D3Football.com was hacked?   :P

Everyone yodel?

Awww, I think I missed it...what did it say?

Instead of a new article that is typically published every "x" days, all that was included in the primary pane of the main web page was bold text saying something to like:

"Today we must all yodel!  Every one must yodel or DIE!".

The previous poll question was replaced with something like "What do you think about yodeling?" with 6 or 7 humorous options.

Wish I would have taken a screen shot to save it.  I have seen no other mention of it on any of the other boards.  I'm trying to figure out why it seems as if I was the only one to see it.  And no... the only "drug" I take is my usual cup (or 3) of coffee in the morning to appease my caffine hook.   :-\

i am more interested in what you response was to yodeling ???

Unfortunately didn't have time to vote.

By the way... Pete returned to practice today:

QuoteNOTES: Rookie LB Rennie Curran (hamstring), OL Mike Otto (right knee), DT Kareem Brown (left shoulder) and DE William Hayes (right knee) also missed practice. CB Pete Ittersagen, who suffered a concussion Aug. 23 in a game against Arizona, also returned.

If no one else steps in, I'll post some CCIW Pick-Em rules for 2010 and the picks for the week by Wednesday - though it isn't ideal for me.

I'd been really hoping that someone would step up.  Since I now run the MIAA Pickems, I was really reluctant to be that person (though I might have stepped in to salvage the second week rather than see them die).  Perhaps we could do the same deal as 2008 - you post, and I'll tabulate and PM you the results?  (I'll try to suggest GOI and wild card options, but don't want to commit to actually picking them.)

For the guys that participate in the OAC Pick-Em's, please don't forget the season actually kicks-off on Thursday night.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Deal.  I'll post the rules tonight and work on the Week #1 picks towards posting by Wednesday morning.

Yes. And if you had reported it to me rather than to the message board that would have been very helpful in getting it cleaned up sooner.

Umm... geez, sorry Pat.  I just did a real quick check of the CCIW board with my morning coffee before running to my first meeting of the morning, before having to run my son to urgent care after a playground accident.  I really wasn't in the "I should report this mode".

Next time I will...

50 lashes should do!!   ;D

Kinda what I thought would happen.  Top 2 CB's return to active roster for the Titans and...

Pete Ittersagen was cut today from the Titans.  Bummer.

QuoteNASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans waived the following players today: P Ricky Schmitt, CB Pete Ittersagen, LB Mike Rivera (injured), DT Kareem Brown (injured) and WR Bobby Sewall.

The Titans must trim their roster to the NFL-mandated limit of 53 players by Sunday afternoon.

That stinks!  I saw a certain Chicago NFL team that could use some help in the secondary!!!

I just posted on the other north region boards about the pick ems starting up.  I used the phrase, "Come join us!"  which made me feel a little like the scary twins from The Shining.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79p57JJrMwo&feature=related

The OAC pick-em are open for business too.
