Dear UWW Fans,

Don't let the NCC fans fool you, the parking is not free. I have heard that there will be a strict tax of one cold beverage given to every person wearing red from every person wearing purple.   :) :D ;D

What if we wear purple but carry red? ;)

You gentlemen have been so helpful, I am going to push my luck.  If the weather imposes it's will on our tailgating so much that we have to bail, what bar would you suggest we head to that would be open early and where is that location?  Remember, I am navigationally challenged.  Thanks in advance.  :-*

413, There are so many to choose from. NCC is less than 5 min. walking distance from downtown Naperville which has a ton of places to go. I would stay away from The Lantern as that is where many NCC people go. You have Jimmy's (across the street from The Lantern), Quigley's, Grumpy Bulldog, and more.

I would say that probably Quigley's would be open the earliest out of those listed. From the parking deck you would want to go north (or turn right  :) ) out of the parking lot on Brainard to Jefferson Ave. Turn left on Jefferson and Quigley's is down the hill on your right.

Here is the link to the campus map again, http://northcentralcollege.edu/x8880.xml,
and the campus is not very large so I would say its about a 5-7 min. walk from the parking deck to Quigley's.

The Lantern opens at 11am, Bar Louie (closest to the stadium) also at 11. Quigleys open at 10.

It's kind of hard NOT to run into a bar. If you head west 2 blocks, I would agree with cardfan86 in saying that the Lantern is an NCC bar so anywhere else other than there would be good for you  ;D

The Lantern has been opening at 10 a.m., but the kitchen doesn't open until 11.

I have it on good authority that the Lantern will be opening their doors at 9 am tomorrow!   UWW fans are welcome as well!

I thought I heard that liquor can't be served until 11?  Is that true?

Whitewater would go broke if that were the case.

In case that is the case I recommend a back-up case in your trunk. You know, just in case.

Good point.  You make a strong case for a backup case in case it is the case that bars don't open until 11.  I think i'll even bring a case to back up my back up case just in case.

How about the Triple Take projections, unanimous across the board.  I would have thought there would be opposite picks in 3 of the 4 games.

Have any of the D3 guys seen NCC play this year?

Always.A.Titan

Having been recently removed from college (they stole my money, gave me a sheet a paper, and then I had to work without Summer vacation  :o), I strongly support the idea of a back-up case to back up your back-up case. In this case, due to the conditions and number of people, it may be a good idea to have a couple back-ups to back up your back up's back-up. Maybe even having different options in case you need to help others out, like those who are being taxed without representation  :) :D ;D
