Anybody playing Alma this year? the fun starts at about the 28 second mark WOW!

Just how closely did you watch this video, oldnuthin? At the end of it there's a graphic that says, "First Home Game Sept. 10 vs. Illinois Wesleyan."

(NPU has a neutral-site scrimmage with Alma next Saturday at a high school in Indiana.)

Now, Greg, be gentle.  With a handle like 'oldnuthin', he may have self-esteem issues! ;D

I'm hoping to be in Alma on the 10th (though it may get pre-empted by a nebulouly scheduled family reunion).

I saw nothing worth watching after the hit, so no i did not waste anymore time to see the IWU disclaimer at the end. i can only assume, and that is always dangerous, that with your knowledge of the NPU program that  you work at the school and have a little more time then me due to class not having started.

I appreciate the thought, but i would only have have self esteem issues if my weenie was green  :P, which it is not. Also, isn't a  "nebulouly scheduled family reunion" redundant ?

Mr. Ypsi

A carefully examined security tape of IWU urinals* found no green weenies whatsoever on campus. :D  (*which fortunately does not exist)

"nebulously scheduled" may be an oxymoron, but I do not think it to be redundant.  The occasion is my parents' SEVENTIETH anniversary (which actually already occurred 2 weeks ago, but at 92 and 93, they are quite good at being patient :o); the hold-up on definitiveness is my oldest brother and sister-in-law, who are meandering from California in their RV, with arrival date so far unknown.

Now that is impressive.  Congratulations to them!

The Alma clip in its entirety is one minute and fourteen seconds long. You must be seriously pressed for time, oldnuthin. ;)

Mr. Ypsi

Is anyone planning to do a CCIW Pickems this season?  I've already got about a dozen entrants on the MIAA Pickems, and haven't the inclination to do both.

I'd like a shot at defending my upset victory last year! :o ;D

I'm taking a sabbatical from being the administrator of the Pick-Em's contest.  While it isn't necessarily a huge task, I have done it for the last 5 or 6 years and the time adds up.  With the kids getting busier, I'm trying to simplify my commitments outside of the home.  Plus it wouldn't hurt to have some new perspective on running the contest.
