Ypsi, please forgive.  I'm heading for The Shirk now, so I must still be a Titan.

IWU70 (and equally fermented . . . equally  aged and seasoned).

Mark, I guess I can forgive one lapse since I voted for you for student body president 18 times (I think you only ran twice, but I learned 'Chicago Rules')! ;D

I suspect a majority of the Class of '70 are 'equally fermented ... aged and seasoned'. :P

[I'll try to quash that evil rumor about Millikin, but you know the old saying: "lies can make it around the world before the truth has put on his shoes" - you may be doomed to a Blue future! :D]

Class of '70!!(and still of sound mind?) :o ;D ;D ;D

Just thinking about that 06 Capital game brings back bad memories. I really thought we were going to do well against them with the way we played against them in 05. Their DBs were VERY good and VERY fast and just killed us all day. And then we had to wait about 3 hours after the game for the NCAA to finish the "random" drug testing! I only say "random" b/c they took out QB, stud WR, DB, DL, OL and then our kicker! HA

I recall thinking that the NCAA should have skipped the drug test because the game had already demonstrated that our guys hadn't used any performance enhancing substances.   :-\

So now I'll be nice and wish IWU good luck in the play-offs, even though my brother, an IWU alum, skipped out on watching his nephew play against his alma mater, to attend the Notre Dame/USC game.  :o ;D

Shame on your brother. :P

Wouldn't have happened if he was Class of '70! ;D  We may be old and fermented (and seasoned - preferably garlic, with a hint of curry ;D), but family trumps all.

Well, I'll give him some credit for calling to ask how he did. And if he were in the Class of '70, he probably wouldn't have been able to climb up into the visitor's bleachers and I'd have to sit with him amid a sea of green. ;D ;D ;D And me wearing my Cardinal red-it would not have been a good thing. :P ;D

Now, whippersnapper, you DO realize that Class of '70 is now 63 +/- a year?  We're not ALL dealing with walkers and wheelchairs quite yet. ;D

Thank God, my parents (93 and 94) are still both living independently in their own house (which my dad built 60+ years ago).

I hope this didn't come off as too harsh (I know you were only kidding), but Class of '70 is not THAT long ago (at least to us, who probably all remember exactly where we were when Kennedy was assassinated)! ;D  Yes, I am old (and fermented :P), but I plan to stay on the right side of the grass for quite a while yet!

Thanks for the banter (from an ancient, fermented poster ;D).

As someone who has not taken good care of his body (I smoke and drink too much, but dammit, I enjoy it!), I especially enjoy my parents longevity (aside from the obvious) - I may make it beyond 'normal' lifespans despite my bad habits! 8-).  My goal in life has always been to live to 104, then be shot by a jealous husband - obviously I'm pretty sure my wife never reads these boards! ;D

HEY PAL, DON'T BLOCK THE SHOT!

02 Warhawk

Anyone check out the Around the Nation? I guess Mr. Frank Rossi isn't giving NCC a chance to get past Dubuque.

"With that loss of privileges comes a very challenging Round 2 matchup [for Mount] (either Centre or Hampden-Sydney) and Round 3 matchup (likely either Wabash or Dubuque). "

I would put some $$$ down that neither Wabash or Dubuque makes it to the third round game.
