Does NCC provide Live Video of its home games? If so, is there a link?

http://www.d3football.com/teams/North_Central_%28Ill.%29/2012/index has all the video links that North Central has posted.

Yea, I saw that...I was more specificaly wondering about the UWL game. I assume it'll be available, because it's available for all other home games.

It wasn't listed on their website, which is why we did not list it. If you look at the provider, it's an external, not an internal production, and since this is a holiday weekend, I would say it's not a safe assumption that it will be broadcast.

The NCTV-17 schedule for 9/1 does not currently list a football broadcast.   :-[

This from Kickoff 2012's Keith McMillan - Elmhurst: The only thing that makes me more giddy for a breakout season than 17 or more returning starters is continuity on the offensive line. The Bluejays have all but their left guard back to clear a path for Scottie Williams. Quarterback Joe Furco has nearly three seasons of starting experience, and nine starters are back in Elmhurst's 3-3-5 defense. Last year the perennial knocking-on-the-door team to break through was Centre. This year, with Illinois Wesleyan, Wheaton and North Central all needing to break in mostly new defenses (none has more than three starters back), it's Elmhurst's turn.

Keith sums up the optimism we TRUE Bluejay supporters share for 2012 - Go 'Jays!
Would like nothing more for this to be true this year. I think the Offense is going to be special. Something Elmhurst has not had in forever is that they have 20 seniors. For the first time in a long time they are not going to be dependent on youth as a necessity. I would agree though Jay Bird until the "Evil Empire" is knocked off it will be tough to take over the top spot....but here is hoping! Good Luck to all the CCIW

bluejay4ever- Lester has given Elmhurst a backbone and direction that they haven't had since the Tom Beck and Wendell Harris days.  And yes, there upperclassmen numbers are improved and much (astronomically) higher than when I played/broadcast the games.  However, that is internally on Elmhurst profile only.  Compare this to the other 7 schools, well 6 schools until North Park gets up there which is not THAT far off, etc.   they are still 1-2 slots behind the upper eschilon of the league.  Problem is as Elmhurst is getting better,  so is the rest of the league. When I played Augie, IWU, and Wheaton (except 1999 have to pinch Usee on the 22-16 game) were untouchable and guaranteed L's.  Now you might have only 1 possible 2 teams heads & toes above the rest.

If Elmhurst continues to make strides like this and gets good direction from Lester and CO.  they may be able to make it up to the 1-2 slots of the league.  Would help if the Administration and school cinergize a little better.

Looks like we might have some wet weather on the way for Saturday, with the remnants of the most recent hurricane being forecasted to make its way through the area Saturday and Sunday.

And excitement. Rain/mud games were always a blast.  Often 1 shower wasn't enough to get all the mud off.  :D

I think the only place we could see a mud game in conference anymore is Milikin, isn't it?!? Crazy how things change.  Unless Wheaton has fixed their drainage problem from a few years ago, we may have an opportunity to see a game in a kiddie pool this weekend, though!  I seem to remember a crazy amount of water on the field in a season opener a few years back.  Maybe right after they installed the artificial surface?  Which game was that, Bethel?

That's correct about Millikin being the last of the grass fields.  However, that is expected to change. http://www.millikin.edu/sites/transformmu/campaigngoals/athletic/Pages/default.aspx

It was the Bethel game where there was the flood.  No worries about the football field on Saturday though.  Wheaton opens up Thursday night against Benedictine.

From what I was told by a Millikin employee when I was in Decatur last fall for the NPU @ MU game, Lindsay Field is supposed to have its new Field Turf installed by now. Since these things are dependent upon available financial resources, the turf installation might've been pushed back. But I was told that, as of this fall, the entire CCIW will be playing on ersatz grass.

I was looking forward to seeing the new field this season, as NC travels to Millikin again this year.

79JB - While i do always appreciate you attempting to keep EC a relevant topic on the D3 boards through the years, i do have to respectfully disagree with your observation/assertion above.

The College has gone to great lengths to support the program since Lester arrived and has committed substantial resources over the last 5 years.  Brand new, state-of-the-art field-turf surface and permanent lighting installed at Langhorst in 2011, new alternate jerseys in 2011, big time upgrades in gear (warm-ups, under armour, sweats, etc), expansion and upgrade of the locker room, new scoreboard, fitness center upgrades, expanding the full-time coaching staff, and incredible upgrades to and expansion of the football offices and technology services.

The administration at EC has been very intentional with its support of the program, now the Jays just have to get their part done ON the field.
It's a Great Day to be a Jay!

Yeah, that was Bethel. It was basically a monsoon and there ended up being a weird amount of standing water on the field. But that was far better than the freezing cold standing water on the field at Central in 2007. My toes were frozen by the end of that one.
