Loved the article on the undersized RB.

Where did Williams' brother land?
Once a metalhead, always a metalhead.  Matthew 5:13.

His brother Josh ended up at UWW's camp.

IWU taking it to Aurora 35-13 at the half.  Stinde is having another break-out game.  Quick-striking offense, pretty good stingy Titan D, as per recent years.

NPU fell to Hope today in Holland, MI, by a score of 42-24. Coach Scott Pethtel was very high on the Vikings defense this season, but that unit did not play well at all today. Hope gashed the Vikings for over 400 offensive yards, and that, combined with some good field position for drive starts as a result of good Hope kickoff returns and poor NPU kickoff coverage, and undisciplined play by the Vikings (twelve penalties), allowed the Dutch to score six touchdowns. NPU was within four points at the start of the fourth quarter, but the final quarter was all Hope.

The bright spots in the day for North Park were two Krebs-to-Barnabee touchdown passes, a forty-yard FG by Tony Kebede, and a 6.2 yards per carry average by the NPU ground game.

LETS ROLL

NCC about to LOSE. Too many turnovers and sloppy offensive play today.

Very surprising from a touted Cardinal Team at home

Mr. Ypsi

It's a final: NCC loses 21-17.  NO team can overcome FIVE turnovers in the 4th quarter alone! :P

NCF

Pathetic performance by the offense! The funny thing is it was the defense that was missing three starters! Next week is a must win!

Greg I know you talked about the kickoffs how were your special teams cause from what I can see punts were not going far and seem to be scoring after them were they backed up alot

Holy crap.  :o
North Central's collective foot must be throbbing right now after the Cardinals shot themselves in said appendage no less than SIX times earlier this afternoon.
They resembled in no way, shape, or form the #6 team in the country. Such a lofty position is but a dream after today's display of ineptitude, particularly on the offensive side of the ball.
They need to show both immediate and substantial improvement. Recent history suggests they have the coaching skill and leadership to partially accomplish this task. Its up to the players to learn from today's debacle so as not to repeat the same mistakes as the season progresses.  :-[

Yep, the punting team didn't do a very good job, either. NPU has a new punter/kickoff specialist, and his kicks were not getting much distance. But the returns by Hope off of those kicks were fairly substantial, too.

The Vikes have a lot of work ahead of them.

They seemed to struggle when forced to throw. They a definitely a running team.

How does a unit with so many returning players look so inept? Everyone thought the D would would struggle early. They looked good!
