Oxy - I suggest going back and reading the posts that followed Mr. Wabash's.

I could go back in time and selectively pick and choose posts that "prove" my opinion here also...could but won't.  Those North Central cats that offend don't (and won't) see that the stuff they say is disrespectful to the opponents...not to mention their own team.  I brought up a point for discussion, it was discussed, now it is time to turn the page and focus on the season.

Good one Oxy Bob.  You have offended rival Redlands and their next opponent with one well placed post.

I wouldn't be too too surprised to see IWU put 60 on the visitors this Saturday.  This Titan O is very strong, alot more dynamic and versatile than in previous years, IMHO.  Looking forward to a good game and to the beautiful, cooler weather.  Yes, football weather.

Is there an echo in here?
Good cop/bad cop.
I'll let you figure which is which. :-X
My gut says you're good cop:) But if not still funny. Like the crazy banter better than rainbows and lollipops sometimes.

Williams, a senior running back from Woodridge, Illinois and Downers Grove South High School (Marketing major), ran for 159 yards on 20 carries and four rushing touchdowns during the Bluejays' season-opening 36-0 shutout of Loras on Saturday. He averaged 7.9 yards per carry and scored on touchdown runs of 21, 1, 1, and 11 yards. He also rushed for positive yardage on every carry and had one reception for 15 yards. Williams now needs only 246 yards to become Elmhurst's all-time leading rusher.

Congrats to Scottie, as well as Klein and Bulari.

Big non-conference test this Saturday for the 'Jays with Trine in town.  This Saturday (and every home game Saturday), you can find all the action at Langhorst on the official live video stream at http://www.bluejaytv.com/ - previous two seasons archived on YouTube as well.  For local cable viewers, the EC/Trine tilt will be broadcast multiple times via Comcast in the weeks to come.

LETS ROLL

Well, after a sluggish start by Wheaton and going down 9-0 at Albion, the thunder have righted the ship going into half up 21-9. Wheaton with all the momentum now and should continue to roll.

Titan Q

Final:

Albion 22
Wheaton 21

Albion scored a TD on a 4th & 9 with about 1:30 to play.  Had Wheaton stopped that play the Thunder would have been able kneel 3 times for a win.

Wheaton allowed 8 sacks on the day and 2 touchdowns on 4th down plays, including the game winner with 1:26 left on a 4th down and 9.

The much vaunted Wheaton offense could only muster 2.9 yards per carry on the ground and 248 total yards.  Albion's winning TD came after a Jordan Robert's interception late in the 4th quarter.

Albion had a 19 play, 89 yard, 10 minute 42  seconds TD drive to start the 3rd quarter.

Albion made the huge plays, Wheaton did not.  Albion earned this win, from what I could tell tracking the game via LiveStats.  I'll be interesting to hear from those who actually saw the game.
