Fully aware of what happened in 2012.
Fully aware NCC has two losses this season.

Where I have trouble is keeping the 57 consecutive winning seasons straight.

I reiterate. I'd rather beat NCC than C-LU again.
I like that and hope we can accommodate you. Damn the data and full speed ahead. If we beat  CLU (and not a sure thing) then a team that is better than them especially with a stronger defense (the only way we beat them) and with a stronger ground game -- you suggest would rather face us. I hope your dreams come true.
We would love to me meet you -- up close and personal. If we do, let's see if it is what you dreamed of for this year.
    Go Cards!!

D O.C.

I just like to play new teams.
I'll stay off your board now.
Pacific Lutheran has many national championships and has to be beat on the field. Health!

Hope you are healthy and ready to play come Saturday. If we can beat CLU on Saturday, I hope we can give you a competitive game the following week. Even with the 57 consecutive winning seasons, you might not win every playoff game. You haven't have you? Didn't think so. By the way we don't play PLU, but you do. Maybe we if we win, we won't play you next week.

The top defense in Cal Lu's league is Redlands and NCC put 42 pts on them. That doesn't bode well.

Not sure I understand the logic with this?  Cal Lu put 45 on them so what would it matter that NCC put 42 on them?  I'm not trying to be a donkey here but I find it interesting that some feel that NCC is going to go on the road and win this game with ease.  Maybe I am wrong and it will happen, but it seems like nobody is giving CLU a shot in hell to win this game.

I would disagree that nobody is giving CLU a shot.  CLU seems to have an offense that will give us all we can handle.  This will come down to how well CLU is able to play defense against the Cards.  I'm expecting a great game.   Good luck.

In the d3football poll, CLU is #8, NCC is #14. In the Linfield bracket, CLU is #2, NCC is #7. CLU is the home team. I think that CLU is easily the favorite. NCC is the underdog, but of course CCIW followers think NCC could win.

The Elmhurst/Coe matchup IMO is going to boil down to 3 things:
A) Execution- Which team is going to make the key plays at the right time?
B) Turnovers- Who's going to force fumbles/picks, or make lemonhead mistakes?
C) Elmhurst Defense- We know about the Elmhurst offense and Williams rushing capabilities.  However if he is on the bench getting cold because the EC Defense can't get off the field,  that will make life much more challenging for our Jays

I wouldn't waste too much time on rankings, past year's results, or regular season w/l totals.  The post season is a different ballgame.  In football you have 1 chance (not a 5 or 7 game series) to bring your A game or go home. Make your reads, play hard, and hope for the best.

Perhaps the FB team should do the same thing the Elmhurst VB team did, as the Jays VB team punched their ticket to the Final 4 today, beating Salisbury (MD) 3-0.  Way to kick off the post-season weekend.

This is slightly "tangential" in regards to the college game, however, since it relates to a player in your region, I'd thought I would just mention this hear to ilicit your comments/opinions.  Chicago Bears player Brian Urlacher announced today in response to a question by a reporter that he would "lie to conceal a concussion" to stay in a game, although he doubted that players could conceal such due to the more awareness, newer techinques that trainers and team physicians have available on the sidelines for that (I am not sure what he means by that ??? :-\ as sideline diagnosis hasn't really changed - it is the after concussion test, etc. that have evolved/developed).

I assume, then, that Urlacher would forfeit his right to sue the NFL in later years as many of his NFL colleagues are doing now. ::) ;D ;) :)  Anyway, kind of a "not too smart" idea he is promoting, however,...that is not surprising from some of those people in the NFL. ;)
