Hey North Central fans, just to stir it up a little (and because the UWW-Wesley opener is an extreme longshot of ever happening), I saw that North Central is looking for a game to open the season and so does Wesley. Pretty interesting stuff for both schools if it becomes a possibility.

I'd be all for it!

That would be an interesting game.  Wouldn't affect NCC's regional ranking either.

Aren't all games against DIII teams consider in the regional rankings now?  I thought that was something the NCAA started doing this year or possibly will start next year.

Actually, in thinking about it, I suspect you are correct.

Yes. Actually, it started in the fall of 2013.

I hope it's not true.

Have not posted in a long time and hope all is well. I just read the release of coach Rucks passing. As a former player and coach at EC I always respected what he was able to get out of his players. Prayers to his family and all the Carthage Community.

Tim Rucks was one of the rare people in athletics that was pretty much universally liked.  His passing will certainly leave a void in the Carthage athletic department and in his family.  A class act in every way.

I'll never forget when Coach Rucks was with North Park and he came and visited a bunch of football players from Mundelein.  Although I went a different school and direction with athletics, I always remembered how genuine he was. We were lucky to have him in our conference.

Coach Rucks was a class act.  I am glad that my son had the opportunity to play for him.

RIP Tim Rucks.

Very shocked to hear of the sudden passing of Tim Rucks. The CCIW lost one of the good guys this week. He was well respected throughout the league and the D3 nation. A true ambassador for D3 football. He will be missed.

My prayers go out to the Rucks family and those at Carthage most affected by his loss.

RIP Tim Rucks.
