A Naperville grad gets pulled over by the police.  The officer pulls him out of the car and draws a circle around him saying, "Don't go outside this circle." The officer casually walks over and knocks the side mirror of the car.  He turns around and finds the SoDup grad laughing.  The officer knocks off the other side mirror and breaks a tail light.  Again, when the officer turns around the Naperville grad is laughing.  The officer breaks the other tail light and smashes the front windshield.  After doing so, the officer notices that the Cardinal is now laughing even harder.  The officer goes berserk yelling at the SoDup grad, "You're so stupid! Have you seen what I have done to your car?  This is going to cost you so much to get fixed.  I can't believe how stupid that you would stand here and continue to laugh and laugh.  Naperville grad says, "You're the one that's stupid.  Every time you turned around I jumped in and out of this circle."  ;D

Cue rim shot and cymbal!

The next three weeks will decide the CCIW as the top 3 play each other.

Wheaton @Naperville this week
Naperville @IWU next week
Wheaton @IWU in 3 weeks

This schedule definitely favors the Titans with both games at home after these two play each other. Naperville has the advantage of hosting the Thunder and the only solace Wheaton has is not having these two game back to back. IWU can play with both these teams. My questions on each team would be: Is Naperville's defense capable of slowing down Wheaton and IWU and can they get consistency at QB? Can IWU compete with the other two up front? On offense to more consistently move the ball and on defense to slow down the run, which has become each teams calling card. Will the Thunder be healthy enough to play at the high level it will require to beat these teams on the road. Can the Wheaton receivers match the physicality of the Titan db's?

Didn't know there was a Naperville college?  Checked the schedule and didn't see Naperville vs IWU?  Could you tell me where to find this game?  ::)

Big win for North Park.  Congrats to Greg and his Vikings.   While the EC turnover was a big play of the game, I think the real keys were what was said/changed at the half by NPU.  This was a different Viking team in the 3rd quarter.

Right now this is not a good Elmhurst FB team.  They have some quality players,  but no cohesiveness and some major, visible voids in their attack.  Both O and D.  Reminds me back in the early 00's where you had Juan Quezada trying to do it all and no supporting cast.  Other than possibly the Millikin game,  it is going to be tough for us to get a W.  Let's see if we can upset IWU at home and spoil their run at the title.

Indeed,  big stretch here for the 3 contenders.   IWU is looking to be in good shape getting WC/NC at home.  Can they defend their home turf?

Bell week-  I have a hunch Wheaton wins this one.  I know it is on the road, but IMO WC seems to be most complete team thus far.

You seem to be a relative "newbie" to the board.

For years now Wheaton posters refrain from calling the CCIW school from southern DuPage by name during Bell week.    That is why you'll see "the Naperville college", "SoDup", etc...

Because one doesn't post, doesn't make one a newbie.  Just saying.
