OK, thanks. Now tell me, please, what exactly does a footman do? Take care of one's shoes? Socks? What?

The footman's primary duties are to admit invited visitors and to wait/serve at table.  :)

AND to massage AO's feet if he gets cramps.  Especially if the cramps occur while he is screwing Wheaton on the football fields or basketball courts, and might not be able to continue if not for that medical intervention. ;D

Ok enough of this nonsense and tom foolery.  Doesn't anyone want to focus on the Little Brass Bell staying with her rightful owner in Naperville on the beautiful campus of North Central College?  ;D

And with Wheaton suffering a second loss---does anyone have the telephone number to the local Josten's rep?   Oh nevermind---I'm sure that Coach Thorne already has it.

I'm a Titan.  Little Brass What? ::)

With Wheaton taking their second conference loss, I'm not at all sure that the outcome really affects our Pool C chances (and, unless NCC somehow picks up two losses - rather unimaginable - we are looking for Pool C, not A), so I'm agnostic on the Bell game.  We just have to beat the teams we clearly should beat, plus Carthage and Millikin (both at home) that I THINK we should beat.  A 9-1 IWU SHOULD be a lock for Pool C.

For the sake of those Titan fans who still highly value a conference championship (even if co-), I'll probably slightly root for Wheaton, but I'm focused more on a run in the post-season.  If the offense can pick it up a bit, I think our defense is good enough to go AT LEAST 2-3 rounds deep.

And with the Wheaties picking up their second loss, are they now out of the playoffs?

AndOne

New poll out.
Last week's top 10 remain unchanged.
NCC stays at #4, IWU up to #11.
Wheaton, Millikin, and Carthage in ORV.

Pat Coleman

Seems pretty likely. Their SOS is good now but they have Augie, Carroll and North Park remaining and Wheaton didn't help itself in the SOS department with its non-conference schedule.

Very probably already out.  If they lose the Bell game, they are definitely toast.

I'd rather stick with the tomfoolery.

Gregory, I'm with you.  Little Brass What? ;D

AndOne

Naw. Pretty boring given that Tom is kinda easy to fool. Probably best to move on.
Besides, the helo is in for scheduled maintenance all week, and I gave the house staff the week off, so not much to talk about there either.  ;)

Come on everyone knows the story---it starts with a farmer and his two sons.  Both wanted to go to college, so they flipped a coin and the winner got to attend NCC, the loser had to go to Wheaton (this correct version appears on NCC's website).  Someone else can pick it up from there.

Well, true.

But I'm starting to wonder about cause and effect.  The first Saturday of every month the tornado sirens go off at noon.  Yesterday, on a clear-blue, beautiful day, they sounded.  Not more than ten minutes later, out of no lead-up, we got 50-mile an hour wind gusts!  Only lasted less than a minute, but freaky as hell!  Fortunately, no thunder! ;D

Fortunately, I heard no bells.
