I hope NCC pulls it out. I worry they sometimes abandon the run too soon. 2012 may be a long time ago, but man I still don't get it.
3rd quarter vs Wheaton, before the game got out of hand- 5 rushes and 13 passes.
Rain tomorrow.

Marmac

Rain and wind and cold tomorrow. To win, NCC's offense will need to focus on the ground game and protecting the ball.

IWU 's second round game likely got a lot easier yesterday.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

As long as the Titans take care of the football today they will be fine. I am looking forward to seeing the cardiac kids and their QB against this defense.

On The Red Zone, Coach Thorne says the two keys to today's game are ball security and Special Teams. He said when you play a team as good as St John's, one turnover or field position can be the difference.

watch it here (St Johns commentary starts around the 10:31 mark):

We have to be be close to perfect today in execution.  Time for guys to step up with opportunities they're given.

Rainy, cold and very windy now in B/N.  Noon game time, probably about 40, with very strong wind gusts.

Ball security and strong tackling skills likely a big factor in this game, as well.

Good luck to NCC today.

GO TITANS!

39 and raining in Naperville with a "feel like" temp of 30!

The predictions and betting line may have to change on the NCC-SJU game because of some changes in personnel.

USee

Austin Bruenig not playing for NCC.

Cardinals up 7-0 early

Snowing at the NC game, hard rain at the IWU game.  Pretty horrible game conditions.  Several TOs in the IWU-CWRU game, still scoreless near halftime.

Well, guys, it was 4 TDs alright, but the wrong way.  Titans go down 28-0.  CWRU was pretty tough, as I thought, and played better than our guys today in these very bad conditions.

Great season for the Green, finishing up at 9-2, co-CCIW champs.

Congrats to Coach Eash and all the team on a exciting, championship season.

No 98 points for SJU today as NCC rides a great defensive effort to a 17-7 first round victory.
