Unfortunate set of circumstances for CMU.  It appears they were well on their way to Naperville when this came to light.  I hope all those affected at CMU recover quickly.  What a crushing way to have your season end.  I'm sure NCC is disappointed as well.

I hope we don't see this scenario play out again this post-season.

Man that sucks for the CMU seniors. Hope everyone comes through it ok.

And for their head coach of 36 years that is retiring!  This is how his last game played out.

So does North Central now have the easiest path to the Stagg? I'd say it's between Mount Union & North Central at this point.

All you NCC fans can come over the McCully Stadium and cheer on the CCIW!

Can I sit on the home side now?

I think I'll stick to my usual spot in the end zone.

Does potentially facing LaCrosse in the 2nd round, or Albion, if they beat them, qualify as easy?  I don't know but I don't see Mount Union being challenged much through the first couple of rounds.

Nothing against CMU but I don't think this really does much to the "easiest path" argument. It's a toss-up between NCC and Mount. Survive and advance.

Next Man Up

What are the chances the NCC vs LaCrosse or Albion game is in Naperville?
So young hero, ask yourself............................Do you want to go to college, get a good education, and play (basketball)(football), or do you want to go to college, get a good education, and watch (basketball)(football)? 🤔 😏

Don't surround yourself with yourself. 🧍🏼‍♂️(Yes)

UW-Lacrosse is a much stronger team than anyone Mount may face in the first three rounds.

I'm scratching my head on why they are away to Albion rather than hosting... IDK if their facility was unavailable or if the committee is looking at this very differently than I would expect.  Even in the capsules on the main site presume Lacrosse is the higher seed of the two.
