Man, you guys are lucky we had those COVID cases...otherwise that playoff run would've been over before it started...

Good luck to NCC this weekend!
I was small but made up for it by being slow...

NCC by 10, nobody in d3 can stop that rushing attack.

I will say that NCC has the most physically imposing & athletic Offensive line in D3 by a good margin, I was blown away watching them in the 2019 Stagg Bowl... very impressed this year too!

But I feel the need to ask, have you gotten a chance to watch the UMHB front seven play football this year? Just because Mount Union was getting gashed for 6 yards a pop that doesn't have a whole lot to do with the matchup on Friday night  ;)

I've watched the MHB front 7. Very disruptive group. Very similar to Wheaton, whom NCC played in September. I would expect a similar type game. I think MHB's defensive front is similar but their secondary is better than Wheaton's at that point. This may be a defensive battle. Luke Leanne is going to have to be sharp and Kamienski is going to have to make some plays.

Linfield played NCC in 2012. Not sure you can draw any conclusions from that game that are relevant to the present.
So young hero, ask yourself............................Do you want to go to college, get a good education, and play (basketball)(football), or do you want to go to college, get a good education, and watch (basketball)(football)? 🤔 😏

Don't surround yourself with yourself. 🧍🏼‍♂️(Yes)

Bookmakers have officially posted lines & betting odds for this Friday's Stagg Bowl!

North Central +1.0 (-110) vs UMHB -1.0 (-110) Total is set at 59.5 Points favored slightly to the under.

This is going to be a heck of a game folks, literally a pick 'em!

UMHB now -2.5.  O/U dropped to 48.5.  Must be due to the uniform choices.

Money coming in on MHB!

Clearly.  I wonder how much money it takes to move a D3 betting line.  I don't gamble but if I did I would take anything over NCC +3.

I had the same thought. I've been super impressed with NCC all year. But outside of 10 minutes watching UMHB during the HS game, and a few random drives here and there, Saturday was my first significant exposure to them. They were impressive. They are a unique blend of size and athleticism up front, especially the D front 7. The matchups on the lines will be fascinating to watch Saturday.

Definitely a small market, wouldn't take a whole lot. That's the only book I've seen the game on so far, so they're going to be pretty sensitive to money on one side or the other in regard to line movement. I took UMHB at -1 but NCC +3.0 would be very tempting if I was a Cards fan..

I am not sure what it all means but "Havoc" plays is definitely my new favorite statistic.

No surprise to see Emonte Smith (UMHB) & Dan Gilroy (NCC) top the list in Havoc plays, two of the very best DE's in the country...

My take on MHB this year, and in previous years too, is pretty simple.  They're supremely athletic but not very well coached.  They win because they're simply bigger and faster.  Kind of like your best city high school teams.  Not clean or precise, just big and fast.  If you can stalemate them at the LOS and not get blown away over the top individually you'll be fine.  Otherwise it can get ugly.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.
