So quiet in here lately!  Especially with 2 teams in the second round of the playoffs!  What gives?  I get nobody wanting to come on to talk about NCC and thereby risking the wrath of Greg

For crying out loud, give it a rest with this "wrath of Greg" baloney.

This is the time and place for North Central fans to talk about their team's playoff run, and you darned well know that I know that.

Cut the crap. I'm serious. Talk all you like about NCC's playoff run, as you should, but leave me out of this.

Kind of bummed that Augie had a tough time with Platteville.  It would have been a nice feather in our cap.  Hoping the Thunder have something for Whitewater this weekend. While they already got it done against Oshkosh, this is a decidedly more difficult assignment.

Agreed, as an 0-3 start in the Isthmus Bowl series is not a good look for the league.

Obviously having the number one team in the land is the pinnacle feather in the CCIW cap as a conference. But #2 vs #2 WIAC Saturday will be interesting as well!

We employ 2 indexes on the ASC pick'ems board.
Lazindex has NCC as 25 point favorite and Bornpowerindex (Winner of this year's ASC Pick'ems) has NCC a 27 point favorite.

Let's hope that holds true. It's a tall task for the Cardinals. Trinity hasn't let up more than 7 points in a contest since September. And most of those points occurred when the game was already decided. Their air attack is also harrowing on the offensive side of the ball. The Cardinal secondary and Mr. Egbo & Co. will have to be very sharp. This team has the potential to slow down the NCC offense just enough and the firepower to force a shootout if the Tiger offense plays like they're capable. It should be a thriller in Naperville.

NCC is on the road this week??

What a joke!

And equal joke is that the actual final four is being played this week on the left side of the bracket  with UWL vs NCC and UWW vs Wartburg. The right side doesn't have one team that can compete with those 4.
