I saw a stat on Twitter that North Central has scored a touchdown on 68 of 75 first half possessions.

Is that good?

Unfortunately for everybody else, that's room for improvement.   :o

Yeah, well they haven't played... oh never mind.  ;)

yes, walker did come back in the game.  however, he also did leave the game a series or 2 before the rest of the starters on defense were pulled.  He was on crutches with ice on his ankle/foot on the sidelines.  definitely could've been precautionary and due to the score of the game, but groark played a couple series with the rest of the starting defense.

I noted on the video after the teams shook hands that he and Trinity's Merrifield shared a few seemingly complimentary words.  Glad to see the mutual respect.

Much respect to the NCC fans here. I follow NCAC teams and had not followed the CCIW board, but was interested to read what fans here were saying about NCC being on the road.  That completely baffles me.  So, I was pleased that there isn't that much negativity about it.  Win your games and you are the Champion.  Lots of respect.

The negativity is more on social media.

Haven't had any hotheads on the CCIW football board in a LONG time.
I am a NATIONAL Champion, and I refuse to lose!

NCC up 35-14 at half.

Turning point in mid 1st quarter as UWL was running in for a score that would have put them up 14-7 and the RB was stripped and ball went out of the endzone. Obviously with no replay we won't know if he was in the endzone or not, looked close to me and the other angle I saw video of was inconclusive.

NCC scored on the next play with Sacco going 80yds after breaking a tackle in the backfield.

UWL is explosive and their QB is a problem.
You win! You always do!

hazzben

UWL LT is obviously very strong, but he has egregious holds on literally almost every play. The entire OL is very handsy, but the LT is on another level.

cardinaldad

Obviously you are watching. In my decades of following Cardinal football, this has to be the worst television broadcast I have ever seen. Commercials during play, way homer broadcasters, and no replay. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the NCAA require replays to host a playoff game? I know that the NCAA has a lot requirements for the playoffs and even more to host. This color guy needs some help!!

No Egbo the last drive doesn't help. Left limping 2 drives ago and hasn't been back.

Crawford

That was an insane game (actually all four games were).  The NCC - UWL game had to have had the two best O-lines in the country.  Congratulations NCC.

Antwain Walker was also unable to play the entire 2nd half due to his injury.  Great win and great game by both teams!

Had no idea about that bc the camera angle was so tight. Never got beyond the trenches. Tough losses if they can't go next week.

Hardy had a passing TD, receiving TD, kick return TD and an INT. Some game from him!

Dang.  That was tough to listen to for 2+ hours.  It was good for a couple of laughs though.

Holy s___ their QB was insanely good.  The O line had a good old time with our guys, too.  Not the cake walk we were hoping for, but a win's a win.

During the post-game wrap up the color guy mentioned that he is still recovering from a stroke suffered in the spring.  So let's give the gentleman some slack.  Hoping he continues to improve over time.

Is this video the other angle to which you're referring?  Here's a single frame, also from a post on X.
