Anyone know how Deangelo Hardy performed at the NW pro day? Seemed to be a lot of local D3 products there.

here is a link to his pro day results: https://draftscout.com/dsprofile.php?PlayerId=1040461&DraftYear=2024

also, here is a link of a CBS analyst who ranked "small college" prospects, he has Hardy at #5.

Cool!  Surprised not to see Ruby on there.
I am a NATIONAL Champion, and I refuse to lose!

2015 CCIW Pickem Champ
2015 WIAC Playoff Pickem Champ

Ruby is listed at 5-11. His production is prolific but his size is not gonna elicit much interest as a D3 from NFL. Hardy is 6-5 so his productions plus his size will get him looked at at least.

D3FLETCH

Hardy measured at 6006 (Little over 6-0). His production is prolific but his size is not gonna elicit much interest as a D3 from NFL. Hopefully he gets a mini-camp invite.

Was surprised when I saw his measurements from the NW camp. I would have guessed he was 6'2 but I guess that goes to show you the size of a lot of the D3 defenses vs D1 defenses.

biggest difference in the size between Hardy and Ruby is the weight.  Ruby came in at 5'11 and 188 at the shrine bowl.  Hardy 6 foot - 1/2 inches and 208 lbs.

dont think either gets drafted but pulling for both to get camp invites and hope for the best from there.

also, appears Ruby, Plunk, and Edwin Reed from Mount will be at the Toledo pro-day today and tomorrow so should get some #s on Ruby from that.

Why is Wheaton hosting this year's Little Brass Bell game? It will be the 4th time in the past 5 seasons that NCC has played at Wheaton.

This would never happen with the Monon Bell game. Neither DePauw nor Wabash would tolerate it.

USee

Because everybody is against NCC and constantly looking for ways to plot their demise. You wouldn't have to be so paranoid if everybody wasn't out to get you!

The real answer is that the CCIW operates on a 7 or 8 year calendar (if memory serves) and then the order (date and location) of conference games are reshuffled. If you look back NCC hosted Wheaton 2 yrs in a row in 2015 and 16 (the last time the schedule shuffled). The 2020 game was cancelled due to covid and would have been played @NCC. The 2024 schedule reshuffles the entire conference slate (NCC hosts WashU again in 24 after hosting in 23).

Wabash and Depauw have carved out their game as the last regular season game every year and so have alternated sites each year as the scheduling is easier for the entire conference with a set game on the same weekend every year. I would love for Wheaton and NCC to do that but as long as the date isn't set, these two teams are going to get random reshuffling every 7 yrs or so.

Former NCC WR Deangelo Hardy signed quickly as a priority UDFA with Baltimore.

Just not priority enough for them to get his school right, unless NCC has merged with NC Central.
