Susquehanna 41 St. John's 38  Final
Susquehanna hits a last second FG to win. St. John's trailed 38-24 midway thru 4rth Q and made the comeback to tie it but Susquehanna drove down the last 3 minutes for the game winner.

Bethel 24 Wartburg 14 Final

Mount Union and Salisbury won and play against each other next week.

NCC should get a run to the title via home field if they keep winning. Just a wide open field this year.

I don't know anything about Springfield but they sure looked one dimensional (running) on offense this week.

Believe they're a triple option team.

UMHB plays John Hopkins next week.

Road teams win 5 of the games this week.

Interesting game today. First of all I thought kickoff was at 1pm bc that's what the D3 website said but apparently that meant EST so when I turned it on mid 2nd quarter it was 7-7. From that point on NCC rolled. Not sure what really happened over that first 20 minutes to keep it close.

Before the first TD, NCC threw a pick on their first possession, punted on second and Hope missed a FG.

Springfield plays press man all game. NCC will need to rely on the pass game more than usual

I'll believe it when I see someone actually stop NCC from running whenever they want.

Now that Norm is retired, he could share his defensive schemes with NCC opponents.  Heck this year they held the Cards to the lowest since the 2018 match-up.

Logan spreads. https://hansenratings.github.io/

Bethel -2.8 @ Susquehanna
Springfield @ NCC -24.1
Mount Union -5.8 @ Salisbury
UMHB -9.2 @ John Hopkins

NCC only home team favored.

Of course, most of the current players were in 1st or 2nd grade the last time IWU beat NCC, so if Norm wants to help them out I'm fine with it. And, best of all, Norm can teach them not to shake hands afterwards.

I guess Bethel with #1 rush D would be the ultimate test if they meet them.

In their game vs Cortland Sat, Springfield ran 75 plays. FOUR of them were passing plays. FOUR! Never heard of anything like that.  ???
Sacre bleu!
