Another ball control team just went down.  Alleman just lost to Springfield SHG 28-21 in 5A game.

Was watching that earlier - something familiar about the offense.  Can't quite put my finger on it.

Give Mount's D some credit here bro! not to mention who just tied Dan Pugh for all time yds./game    Guess you need to credit the OLINE as well? :o

So..... if Robinson can go next week does he even see the field?

mt gave up over 3x the amount of rushing in the first half as they give up per game. maybe muc defense is jarring the ball loose but they havne't stopped anyone yet. the credit goes to muc offense. unstoppable.

Finally held him to only a 2 yard gain.  (e.g. moral victory)

Has anyone ever rushed for 400 in a game?  I'm afraid he might make it if Kehres really wanted to try.

You Augie fans, being most appreciative of the run-oriented offense, have got to love MUC's Nate Kmic (a Freshman).  He just set the MUC single game record rushing record, and we have had some good ones (Moore, Pugh of more recent days).
Y'all have great tradition at Augie and in the CCIW.  Playing you or the Thunder always worries me.

Unless they are Augie positive predictions.  Then that is ok.

this is a freshman,  the Oline as I have stated before should get much of this credit! they are jelling as time goes on, just as they should!

USEE- Mounts D is getting it DONE     period!

The Augie hurry up offense...Roe option for a big game.

One of MUC's O-linemen is from the Chicago area.  I talked to his Mom last year and asked why he didn't go to one of the area D3 schools there.  She said that he would have been playing against the same guys that he played against in high school, and he didn't want that.  Plus, he knew that the MUC O-line was all graduating so he knew he had a great chance to start as a Freshman, which he did.

I think Barnes is probably happy with the way the offense is moving the ball.  (I am... though when you watch what Kmieck is doing it seems a little less impressive)  The rushing yardage is actually higher than I would have guessed vs. the MUC defense.  A few bad breaks have stopped Augie from putting a few more points on the board.

This game was always going to be decided by how the Augie D did vs. the MUC offense.
