Finally held him to only a 2 yard gain.  (e.g. moral victory)

Has anyone ever rushed for 400 in a game?  I'm afraid he might make it if Kehres really wanted to try.

Some of you probably laughed when I said this earlier....  He's over 360

I don't think I've done anything but compliment the MUC defense.  Augie has done better than I expected even though MU has played well.

Once MUC reached 30 points it was over.  That's too many points for Augie to score without MU turnovers.

b4-go pound your chest somewhere else. mt unions offense won this game. PERIOD.

usee

The interesting thing is that MUC has learned that an effective running game can win football games.

10 min to go. wabash just ran a fleaflicker, harbaugh had a guy wide open but fell before he could throw it.

Another ball control team just went down.  Alleman just lost to Springfield SHG 28-21 in 5A game.

Was watching that earlier - something familiar about the offense.  Can't quite put my finger on it.
EJW:
You know that they play all of their home games at Ericson Field now?  That was part of the deal when Augie bought the land from AHS for the new baseball field.  Since it is the field turf, there isn't quite the issue of wear and tear on the field as there would have been with natural grass.

cap threw an INT. wabash ball on cap 38 yd line 6 min left.

Whoa!  In a region I don't know much about... didn't Union jump out to a 21-0 lead?  They are now trailing 24-20.  24 straight points from Rowan.

that game was 14-7 union at one point.

Scoreboard must have been wrong...  I swear I saw it listing the game as 21-0.
