I will say this, with MUC only throwing the ball 10 times, it does reduce the opportunities of an Anthony int.  Turnovers were huge against Augie today.  The d needed to provide some that the o could do something with in order to win.

usee

wabash w ball 1st and goal at the cap 1. td wabash......14-9....going for 2....(why was cap throwing the ball??)

usee

2pt pass is good 14-11. 5.40 left to play.

Seems like a broken record the past 7-8 years against Mount.  Until the CCIW teams can give stronger defensive presence, there will be no getting beyond Alliance.

Congrats to the Purple Raiders.  They demonstrated that they are still quite a force to reckon with in D III football.

I guess Augie didn't end up too bad...you know for a team predicted to be 3rd or 4th in the CCIW.

Linfield - Mt. Union, who doesn't want to see that shootout?

Would be a great Stagg Bowl other than trying to sort out all the purple uniforms.

penalty on cap 15 yds. wabash w ball at cap 31. 1.50 to go.

Congrats to the Vikings.  Another great year when you stand back and look at it beyond today.
I can still hear, from my youth, Howard Cosell saying, "...and he is from tiny Augustana" when talking about the Bengals QB, Kenny Anderson!

that game was 14-7 union at one point.

Scoreboard must have been wrong...  I swear I saw it listing the game as 21-0.

Rowan up 28-24 start of 4th

Sounds exciting- sorry I tuned into the Del Valley game instead. (Del Val just scored to go up 21-14 with 1:30 left)
