Ah, down to the Final Four.  I was listening to the UWW/Linfield game.  What a thriller!  I would like to see a Warhawk/Purple Raider Stagg Bowl with UWW winning.

I'm not sure I want to see a state school beat Mount Union.  On the other hand, I sure don't want to see Rowan beat Mount Union.  I hate Rowan!  Now if it is Rowan and Whitewater, I'm fine with the Warhawks.

Capital's close game against Mount Union adds fuel to my theory that CCIW teams always play poorly in Aliance!  North Central played Capital very well and while Augie gets their clock cleaned, Capital moves on a gives the Raiders everything they can handle.  Hmmm.  When are we going to send a team to Alliance that has a statistical chance of winning and then play 'em tough?

It clearly isn't the OAC, so it must be the water in the Mount Union visitor's locker room!!! ;)

Hiker, do you think that is more of a mindset ( having trouble in Alliance)  or just a tribute to how good a team MUC is?  I can recall times we knew we were in for it, and if we believed beforehand that we would get killed, usually we did.
One thing I don't understand is, how come MUC always seems to get the homefield?  I would like to see the Mount travel to a CCIW school. I don't know how much difference this would make, but I still would like to see us getting the homefield.

Tailgater-
Nice to hear from you again. Also a small correction about O'Boyle is that he didnt start the first game aganist Carroll. He was put in on the 3rd or 4th drive because Sharp started the game 0-8 or 0-9. Just a small correction for ya  :)

RedmenFB44:
Ah your right, The plan at Carroll had been for Sharp and O'Boyle to rotate every couple of series. I had forgotten that Sharp started and played so poorly that he never returned. He had been suffering tendenitous in his throwing elbow going into the opening game of the season and it affected his performance. In fact he sat out the CUW scrimmage the week before because of the tender elbow. The opposite happened in week 2 against Lakeland. O'Boyle started and had a lack-luster first half and couldn't move the offense. Sharp relieved him after the first series in the second half and helped engineer the come from behind victory.

Either way, neither of them are very good.

Don't know about Peterson but it's been raised on this board more than once that Spencer has a shot at a medicai redshirt from a year at Indiana.

B4,
You know there will always be a spot and a beverage for you on "The Hill" at Carthage.  I 'd love for you to make the trip, Just try not to fall out of the luggage rack on the Train! Trust me it hurts!
Good luck to your boy and the Raiders this weekend.  I hope they win number 8!
HEY NORM, I LOST YOUR HAT! GO REDMEN!!!

B4uknewit-  Is that Amtrak's Emporer Builder line that takes you direct into Chicago?   ;)  I'm a big railroad nerd.
I knew about Spencer and it's looking more like he will be able to come back.  What a boost for NC and the CCIW.  I didn't know about Peterson
How does MUC travel?  If the CCIW were to have a home game vs. MUC, would the Raider faithful have a good showing?

There is lots of water there.  It is all cold in the showers and hot from the faucets. 8)
