I have a feeling that ESPN will be the channel of choice for CCIW D3 fans on Saturday to see how Radtke and Elliott (and the other 2 guys) match up against Divison 1 players.

i wonder how in shape lenny is....or was......when he got the call for the bowl....you'd have to figure, being a sr. in college who doesnt play any other sports, he'd be a little out of shape from the....um....extracurriculars. he said himself after the aztec bowl that it was probably the last game he would be playing. i just picture him in his room with his buddies consuming a beverage or two when his cell rang....

hula bowl people -  "can we speak with lenny radtke, please?"
lenny - "uh...it depends, who is this?."
hula bowl - "lenny, we're with the hula bowl. how would you like to participate in this years hula bowl in hawaii?"
lenny - "bulldookie"
hula bowl - "this isnt a joke"
lenny *dropping said beverage on floor* - "wow"
hula bowl - "are you up for it?"
lenny - "um" *sets down chips* "oh ya, i'm up for it. been working out since the aztec bowl....." *friends bust up laughing in background because they dont know who he's talking to and know for darn sure he hasnt even seen the weight room or track in weeks*

not quite 100% sure that that's what happened....but i would imagine that's what would have happened if i were in that position.;) ;D

Robertgoulet, that's just about right.  As soon as we were finished playing our Senior Year Finale, we started really hitting the POP  :P  hard.  What else is there to do in the Winter when it's below zero ( usually) out there.
Quite an honor for Lenny Radtke and I hope he does well this weekend.  Good to see a local boy succeeding.

What happened to Irish21's posts?  We were having a good give-and-take!  It appears now that I was having a conversation with myself...

Does anyone know what time the Hula Bowl on ESPN is?

Jaybird and robertgoulet-
Wow, how true are you guys. When I finished my senior season, the rest of the semester was a blur.

I saw the advertisement in the Daily Herald showing
Saturday January 21  at 7pm EST which is 6 pm our time  on ESPN.  Remember when in Hawaii and since the Holidays are that far past... MALAKALEEKYMUCKA is the thing to say.   ;D   Any Hawaiins on the board able to verify my spelling?
I hope ESPN's crew at least knows some information about the Divisions below D-1, unlike the Stagg Bowl.

Sorry, guys.  I got the information from the website below on ESPN.com.  You would think that they would have the correct information.  My bad.

I love the NFL draft. I love looking at all the players that enter the draft. Its cool to compare stats and look at players from D-1AA, D-2, D-3, and NAIA.

I know for sure that Linfield's QB and WR are on the draft board on ESPN. Does anyone else know any D-3 players that could be looked at in the draft?
