Did anyone get Kickoff 2005?  Was it worth the money? 

I too did not get last year's Kickoff, but I have already paid for this years.   A lot of people on a lot of different boards (OAC, MIAC, etc.) indicated last year that it was definitely worth the dough.  Besides, the proceeds help to keep this site as excellent as it is.

Don't worry about it too much tailgater.  I went from +5 to -2 for saying I went to Wesleyan instead of Millikin.  I was even self condescending about it, but sometimes, it just happens.  Karma comes and Karma goes.......

Today was media day at Augie. The roster is up on their website. 134 players and no major unexpected losses. I haven't checked out all the freshmen yet, but one very interesting name I saw was Henry Deters, the all-time leading rusher in the state of Illinois.

I like how you referred to me by both of my "names." 

I could never get the Elmhurst radio broadcast from Wheaton when I lived there. Half the time, when I was driving to a random Elmhurst game, I couldn't get it most of the drive either. The internet broadcast is a great move for stations that have a small range.

I am indeed not in Illinois anymore... California is very far away from Illinois!Incidentally, if you are not in Illinois, how exactly would you hear the game if not on the internet? 

I can't believe both of the football boards I post on has guys whining about karma.

I should mention that I do think it's pretty lame when people randomly smite people for the heck of it just because they don't like them. It's a very childish thing to do.

But men often do childish things with power, so....

Thanks Footballfan413. I't's nice to be a Zero again........I think?  Thanks to all for the words. I truely don't care where my karma rating is. It just would be nice to know who is objecting to what I or others have writen in order for a civil debate to follow. Hard to offer an explaination when there is no idea who and why there is an objection. This is a discussion Board right?

April/diehard--You're residing in CA now?? Wow!  I think when we met you were living in Virginia.
Yes, the conventional radio is not the best way to hear our games.  The station has boosted the power, but it is still not as strong as WONC.  I think Wheaton's and Elmhurst's campus stations are pretty close (88.x)  which might explain why it is harder to hear in Wheaton.  My Sister has been able to hear the games as far away from Elmhurst as Woodfield Mall.   I tell my friends/listeners to tune into the Internet for the most clarity.
Dansand-- I saw on the web that today was Augie Media Day.. 134 players???  Now honestly,  how many of the 134 players are actually going to see "quality time"?   I think it is great that 134 players want to play for Augie (and the CCIW), but when I was that age, I wanted to play.
