Looks like Wabash is in danger of falling to Franklin.  The vaunted Wabash defense has given up over 31pts with Franklin on their 4 yard line at the start of the 4th quarter.  

Here's hoping that Wabash didn't really look even with the Thunder in their scrimmage. 

Millkin got all the way down to the ONU redzone and then had to punt. ONU had a three and out and Millikin just scored from a drive that started on the Millikin 48. The score is currently 21 ONU, Millikin 7. ONU gets a 3 and out, and Millikin gets the ball on the Millikin 49 and has moved it up to the ONU 29.

IWU defense is tearing it up against the weak Olivet Offense... they just picked up their third INT and got a FG.

Incidentally, I understand what the rankings were, though I must admit I haven't gotten the kickoff guide, I looked up the preseason poll for the OAC and I can obviously look at the op 25. I just think that ONU was rated too high by the OAC coaches and the D3hoops pollsters based on what they lost. Similarly, I wouldn't be surprised if BW was underrated. I personally think NCC will win the league this year (obviously hoping for wheaton though!). If BW finishes 4th or higher in the OAC, and Augie finishes 2-3, these preseason results won't look so bad.

HUGE performance today by defense and special teams for IWU.  They carried the game the whole way- 3 INT, 1 fumble recovery, blocked field goal for TD, blocked punt for safety

Anybody can beat anybody and if you don't bring your "A" game and discipline,  you are going to find yourself on the losing end.
Congrats to IWU on the win.  Hopefully Millikin can come back and cool off the Polar Bears (no pun intended) and Carthage can filet the muskies.

Definite congrats to the Titans... obviously I was listening to the IWU broadcasters, but it sounded like a total slaughter.

Millikin just scored again on ONU... it's 28 ONU, 14 Millikin... but the clock is winding down and this game should be over. A very respectable finish for the Big Blue.

overtime for wabash and franklin. cardiac kids are playing over there today. franklin downed the ball to position a kick w 9 seconds left but had no timeouts left.....refs gave them a 4th timeout and wabash blocked the fg. going to OT.

Millikin played it tough today.  They were going into the half down 7-0 and Ohio Northern broke a long 80 yard touchdown while running the clock out to make it 14-0.  Seems like a back breaking type of play.

augie was held to 127 yds rushing v BW. they gave up 10 4th quarter pts off turnovers and that was the difference in a very defensive game.

fightintitan, I'd be curious as to when you played with that tag line you have there.  In 2003, I wrote a letter to Norm and the team after just getting back from Iraq talking about things are never as good as they seem, and things are never as bad as they seem.

That was something that coach always told us, I don't really remember when I first heard it from him.  I was playing in '03 though and I do remember him telling us about you and reading part of your letter after practice one day.   

I don't know you personally and have never met you, but just from what he told us that day, you embody the true spirit of being a Titan.  You have all my respect and gratitude for serving our country.
