When did this playful "feud"  between Mugsy--CardinalAlum-- Diehardfan-- etc. start?

There's nothing playful about it(at least this week!)  Mugsy and I have "bonded" if that's what you want to call it because we played against each other for a couple of years back in the Stone Age.  DHF has joined in because Mugsy couldn't handle me alone!  ;D  Plus, I heard about the great cookies(which I have ZERO chance of seeing right now!).

Playful?  I'd suit up again to take on CardinalAlum (if I weren't so creaky and breakable).

Actually it has been fun to re-live the "glory days" and get a different perspective on the CCIW from other alum like CardinalAlum.  Plus I find his banter to be hilarious, particularly the one about NCC beating Wheaton this weekend.

HA!  Stop.... your killing me!!! I can't breathe... seriously... no more.   :P

As to DiehardFan, I feel it important to mentor the younger generation.  To pass on whatever wisdom about Wheaton football I have gleaned and how to handle the delicate matter of slapping down upstart NCC fans.  You can see she has already surpassed any expectations we had.   :D

Where there is one... there are many.  I know there are many lurkers beyond the regulars like usee, HikerJim, matblake, etc...

My dog is absolutely terrified by thunder -
As are your football and basketball teams.  :P

Oh wait, it's not the week to make fun of you guys... yet...  :D ;)

Football - maybe, but I doubt it.

Basketball - in your dreams!!  If we NEVER won another CCIW game, you might catch up in wins in, oh, 20 years! ;D

But my dog still says you are a terrorist organization, and should be reported to Homeland Security. ;)

April-- your hair is a different style than the time we went out at Wheaton a few years ago... it looks good this way.
We went out? That's an interesting way of putting it. Aren't both people ususally supposed to know about those things? ??? :P I honestly really don't remember what we did at all. Sorry. :-\

Course there are a few things I have learned that you do not touch with woman.
Age
Weight
and more of the two!  Otherwise you will be in the doghouse  :o
Does anyone else think this sounds like he's calling me old and fat? Ouch.

Can I help it if I really like chocolate chip cookies!!  ;)
This is a valid point. You are forgiven. I certainly do not think of my self as being as attractive as a chocolate chip cookie.  :D

I have an incredibly hilarious comeback for this, but unfortunately, I can't post it for anonymous reasons. They're good guys though, and have proven it in the past. I am lucky to have them as friends.

Jaybird, we pitiful Cubs fans still get to root for whoever is playing the Cards.

Yes, the Wheaton folks don't give Norm as hard of a time as the NCC and Carthage folk.

RedmenFB44-

You still around or have your hamstring injuries hampered you from getting online?  What do you think of the game this weekend? ???

LOL im still around just reading all this banter HAHA. My hamstrings are still bothering me but im dumb and still going to play softball tonight. I guess thats just the smart person I am  ;D As for the game it will be a tough one. Carthage doesnt always play as well on the road so I hope they dont have a let down. When I played, IWU was a team we HAD to beat. I would say they were our biggest rival because your head coach hated Carthage and talked bad about our school. BUt thats over now and I hope that it will be a great game down south.
