Mugsy and/or Pat,

I know Mt Union is the juggernaut of the Midwest Region and the team to beat out of the this Region come playoff time.
This might be a dumb question but,  why do they ALWAYS seem to get the home game?  Is it because they are the #1 seed year in and year out?
Carthage, Augie, Wheaton, they all have to travel to Alliance.  I think it would be interesting to see how MUC would respond if THEY had to travel to our areas.

Yup, year in and year out they are the #1 seed in the Midwest Region.  Until someone takes the #1 seed from them, all roads will go through Alliance.

RMFB44- CLC plays North tonight, I predict a slaughter.

A slaughter on which side  :D + karma for you
CLC is in the playoffs for the first time since 1991

CLC??  Playoffs??  I'm glad i was sitting down, I might have fainted!! ;)  Congrats.  I'm seriously thinking about taking over the Grayslake Central program if I move back home.  i may need a running backs coach, hint hint

I say CLC over North (even though CLC should be resting starters for the playoffs) 42-6.

and I agree, I think NC will beat Augie and hope for Carthage or Elmhurst to pull an upset so NC can make it to the playoffs again

I am assuming you mean NCC beats augie and then hopes for a carthage/elmhurst win over wheaton. that would certainly do it. I would have no problem with NCC as a cciw rep in the playoffs.

That is exactly what I am hoping for.  I would have no problem with Wheaton or Augie as our rep but am obviously hoping for the Cards to make the playoffs
Go Cards

Good luck to all in the CCIW except Augie!!   Sorry fellas next week for you.
We will always be REDMEN

I know I haven't heard CLC and playoffs in the same sentance ever! But hey if your ever a coach, I better be the first guy you come to  ;)

By the way, Central beat Grayslake North 35-12 so Central finished 6-3 which is amazing!

I have the Augustana broadcasters on, but was wondering where I can find the Carthage broadcast.  Can't find it anywhere.

Since I can't get the Carthage/Augie broadcast I decided to look up the sizes of the Augie offensive line vs. the Carthage defensive line. Thought it was kinda intersting:

Augie offensive line starters:

Tackle - Westemeyer 6'5" 250
Guard - Verhelst 6'0" 275
Center - Tongue 6'4" 245
Guard - Kretzmann 6'2" 268
Tackle - Schoon 6'0" 267

Carthage Defensive line starters:

DE - Woelke 6'2" 220
DT - Januszewski 5'8" 243
DT - Coker 6'0" 248
DE - Johnson 6'0" 244
