Carthage tried to fake a punt at their own 33 and it doesn't work so Augie has the ball at the Carthage 25.

Carthage seems to have a history of faking punts against Augie. Do they fake as many punts against other teams?

I know that Carthage will only fake if they see a weakness in the opposing teams punt block unit but I know that Carthage will try anything to beat Augie since they haven't since 1996.

O'Boyle with a great pass and some nice runs by him on this drive. He did it all on this drive. Also that is the first points for Carthage since the 2003 game!

This is a little off topic, but in the MSU NWU game today, the Wildcats were up 38-3 midway through the 3rd quarter and ended up losing 41-38.  How does a team blow a 35 pt lead at home with 23 minutes to go especially to MSU?

First completion of the day for Augie. McGinnis was 0-3 before that pass.

Maybe MSU remembered that loss to ND earlier this year and wanted to get their own crazy comeback win.

Augie fumbles the ball in the Carthage endzone, Carthage picked up the ball and he started running down the sideline. The officals blow the whistle for no reason when Johnson was across the 30 yard line. He never stepped out of bounds but for some reason the refs blew the whistle. Terrible call as that ball could have been returned for a TD or it would have been much better field position. Instead Carthage ball at the 20 yard line. TERRIBLE CALL!

Sounded like something wasn't right with that call.  Probably an inadvertent whistle is my guess.
