Capital still has to play Baldwin Wallace which is no cupcake so there is still a chance that Wheaton could slip into the #4 slot, and get a 1st round home game.

which would be against either BW or franklin if that happens.

USee, do you know why Capital is #4 and Wheaton #5?  They are both identical records wise.

besides the obvious things already mentioned...the rankings of cap, wheaton, franklin follow their relative QOWI

There hasn't been much talk about Augie and post season.  Where do the Vikes line up on this playoff predict?

I just fell out of my chair laughing.  If i could give karma, i would.  :D

Also, I'm very much enjoying the "Around the Horn"-esque discussion going on.  I would love to entertain the idea of a CCIW regional show on ESPN with you guys on it.  Could be a hit i fyour knowledge starts to extend to the whole region (even more than it already does).

if ncc loses to carthage, augie lines up at #8 most likely and an embarassing 1st round trip to alliance. lets all "Hope" that doesn't happen. you thought Augie lost badly last year to MUC???

As outlined earlier, if NCC loses a game, Augie has the h-t-h over Wheaton, and is the AQ.  They have zero chance of a C.

Ok, let's quit the "what if NCC loses" scenarios!   :D

I actually think there is a better chance wheaton loses to carthage this weekend in kenosha than ncc losing next weekend in naperville. that said i don' think either will lose.

You have got to be kidding me!  Someone gave me a negative karma over Corbs??   ??? ???
We will always be REDMEN

Looks like there are some bandwagon jumpers to what I have been preaching the last few weeks  8)

Now some of you see that the offensive coaching is blind, inept, and moronic!!!  Talking about a small offensive line - Look at the roster and see who was wasted this year by standing on the sidelines!

I'm expecting to see changes this week, but it will be too little, too late.  Also, knowing this offensive coaching staff they will get it wrong anyway.

And for those of you still talking about Augie winning conference - PLEASE STOP - that would be a total waste!!!

So I guess that means Eric Corbett is out as well?

Just kidding that was just a little jab at EC.

HAHA Corbett is the man. What a great guy. He was my cooperating teacher when I was student teaching. What a great time that was  :D

Thanks, Jim.  If we include NFL performance, the debate is obviously over!  As far as college, the only one I'm sure could help out here would be Dennis Prikkel, but I don't think he ever appears on the fball board.

Sure he does. Don't you recall that a few weeks ago he was in here talking about North Park gridders who were drafted by the NFL (Chuck Burgoon by the Vikings, Paul Zaeske by the Oilers) back in the years of the Nixon Administration?

Dennis has actually been the only presence representing NPU (albeit an infrequent one) in this room over the years, with the exception of a couple of Mark Erickson posts. Lakeshore and I are relative newcomers, although I've lurked here for a long time.

I think Bruce Swanson had a cup of coffee in the NFL tool.  He threw the 10 touchdowns in the game DP had referred too.

Attached is the link that lists the NPU football players in the Pros: (I use that term loosely)
