I wish CUW would join the CCIW and instead of continuing to play in a pedestrian conference and soon to join a new one.  Join the CCIW and lern to play every week.  That would solve the problems they have with predictability and the ability to come out with no intensity and still win games.

Ric

Safe travels to all coming to Ohio this holiday weekend.  I for one think both games will be closer than most OACer's think.  I think the Capital, North Cental game will be a really good one and I think if there is one team that has the best shot at Mount Union prior to Salem its Wheaton.  There isn't a coach out there that will be better prepared to face the Raiders than Swider, having been to Alliance four times.  And when you factor in he has a damn good team, I would not be surprised if this one is the closest yet.

Superfoot Wallace

No offense Ric, but if the Wheaties show up with their bonnets fitted as tight as Redmen96ses you guys are in a heap of trouble - helluva 200th
See that, that spells Adidas

I was looking at pics on the d3 website and I happened across this one for all you consipiracy theorists. It is a pic of Mastrino (#2) from ncc "catching" a 2nd and 15 pass from kniss to set up NCC's final td. (you can also view the whole sequence) looks like the refs missed one??  :o

U can see the ball under #2's butt BUT, I don't think U can tell if the receiver's hand is under the ball or not as its too dark in that portion of the pic to tell. I think if he didn't have control (no catch) the ball would have come free when the receiver rolled over like he did. No real way to tell, but are u forming your opinion based on the INITIAL  appearance where u CAN see the ball, of after considering what amy not be able to be seen in the pic? As they say, is there INDISPUTABLE evidence that would have overturned the play as called?

I haven't formed any opinion as I wasn't there. from this pic and the later one when he rolls over it calls into question the possession.

Gregory Sager

"Look, man, the book's a phony!"

Greg Brady always did the right thing. Why, oh, why didn't that Jerry Rogers creep believe him when Greg told him that the stolen playbook was a fake? Was is because he was, as Marcia put it, "Jerry Rogers: Quarterback and dreamy ..."?

Never trust a quarterback.

LOL...

Amen.  Never, ever trust a quarterback - particularly one that is "dreamy" or thinks he is.

These Brady quotes are bringing back repressed memories of horrible haircuts (or lack thereof) and freakish clothes.

I'd like to see the "W" part of CCIW beefed up. But would you add 1 team or 2? Adding one team would create bye weeks in the middle of the season or non-conference games with whoever is available. And I like the fact that they play 3 non-conference games. Would that drop to 1 or 2? The question of adding teams to the CCIW is interesting. Is football impacted more or less than other sports?
