Didn't we already go over the fact that in order to be a great hire, it has to be Mugsy? I know you love him dearly CardAlum, but we don't have to talk about Mugsy all the time just because he's so awesome, do we? ??? ;D ;)
Wait, dunks are only worth two points?!?!!!? Why does anyone do them? - diehardfan

I saw that the offensive line coach had something to do with recruiting as well... Ponx right? That guy is intense.  Kam got sacked and he tossed one of the yard markers 20 feet. I would hate to make a mistake in front of him as a player (of course all players hate to make mistakes)

Card Alum:
Is he going to stay in a recruiting capacity? Or is he they guy they switching around to find someone to just do recruiting?

WR: I also have to say Brad Spencer (Tyke's Older brother) was a great reciever (statistically not as good) he played under the old offense and then broke alot of records that Tyke would later shatter when Thorne came aboard.  He won't get into that top three, but the guy could flat out play.

QB/RB: Jeremy Walsh also (Matt Roe like runner, but better passer IMHO) not great statisticaly but when you run, run, pass every three downs the d-coordinator for the other team usually figures it out. Not that I'm bitter about that  ;)

Ponx is an incredibly intense coach and a very good one.  His role as the recruiting coordinator will be huge for the program.  He will remain as the O-line coach as well from what I know.

Yes the O-line has been consistently better as the years have gone by under Thorne's staff. My first year with him we were not great, but we got better and the last couple years have been very very good. Ponx is a huge part of that.  Its the most athletic the group has been in a while.

Kasper 58 has improved remarkably since his freshman year. The guards have been very good in pass pro and in the delay hand-off/option run scheme

Spicer 71 was a TE then a DE and they ended putting him at Tackle where he ended up being a very good tackle, I was glad they moved Guzaldo back to DE after a year at tackle.

Braga 74 at Center played well too, very crisp shotgun snapper (very important in thier scheme) I didn't see him mess up any snaps (I didn't see every game this isn't some kind of claim) this last season.

I'm really excited to see what the next year will bring with some being back and others being gone on the OL

Walsh is one of my favorites!  Great call, 62!  He was a warrior!

Kasper is great.  I'm glad he's back for one more year.

You obviously weren't at the Concordia playoff game!  ;D  Braga has been outstanding.  He is a bit undersized, but battles his butt off every time!

hell yeah he was.  'nough said.

we didn't win many games that year but he knocked the hell out of some folks and took alot of hits other QBs wouldn't have gotten up from

Yeah I hated to miss that game, but I had an event that evening and I wasn't going to make it back from WIS.  Braga's older brother Will was the same way injuries ended two of his last three seasons, but he was a heck of player too

CardinalAlum

I mentioned the Concordia, WI. game because one of the snaps flew over Kniss' head!
