It's March 1.  Has anyoen heard of any players "committing" to play for any CCIW teams as of yet?  IWU usually does a great job (along with the Pantagraph) of stating who's playing sports at the college and where they're from.  Yet, I haven't seen anything from either of them yet.  Q or or Bloomington area posters, have I missed something in the Pantagraph?

Any other schools hear of new players coming to the program?

TB,

This site usually has some names of players "committed" to a certain school.

You have to scroll to the bottom to get to the CCIW schools.

I was looking threw my card collection because I am selling my whole collection  :'( but I did find a card of Ken Anderson (Augie QB) and also a player that played for Millikin. A wide reciever that I think played with Green Bay or the Eagles. The name is slipping my mind right now. Any help?

Also if you are interested is some cards let me know. I am selling them very cheap  ;D

This has been discussed before im sure but what other players that have played in the CCIW also played in the NFL? I know Rucks was with the NY Jets for 2 years.

John Munch - IWU LB played for the Jets and maybe the Pats for a few years in the mid 90s

Good site but not much info on CCIW schools.  Saw a couple of names but not much.  Like I said, IWU usually does a good job with this sort of thing but it may just be too early to ask.

That would be Jeff Query.   Fastest receiver i've ever seen in this conference!

The List of recruits was not listed in the Pantagraph until the end on May last year, so it still maybe a little early. I find it interesting that Panno's brother is listed as going to Carthage on the Edgy website.

With ordinary talents and extraordinary perseverance, all things are attainable.

Mr. Ypsi

I understood that Steve Laub (QB, IWU, '66) got a very serious look with the Cowboys, but was one of the last 2 or 3 cut.  Never heard if he got any other looks (or played in any other league).  As a freshman, I saw his battle-royale with Ken Anderson.

The Albany Firebirds did not exist until 1990.  They are now the Indy Firebirds and the new Albany team is The Conquest.
