I know this makes me sound childish, but is anyone else really excited about the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES movie? I mean honestly that takes me back to saturday mornings.
Me too.  The animation looks significantly better than the animatronics in the previous 3 live action films.
They are making another one? As much as I totally liked that show growing up, I wonder if this means EVERYONE will start calling me April O'Neil again, or if there are now enough famous Aprils that I don't have to worry about this.  ::) :D

I think everyone would agree that it would be great for the conference to have North Park move into a more competitive level.  What I think people would disagree on is who they would like to see the Vikings break their current conference losing streak against.  That team, whomever it may be, will not be happy.  They were close a number of times recently (v Elmhurst & Millikin 05).  Here is rooting for them, unless they are playing Wheaton.  ;)
Wait, dunks are only worth two points?!?!!!? Why does anyone do them? - diehardfan
What are Parkers now supposed to chant after every NP vs WC game, "Let's go enjoy tobacco products off-campus? - Gregory Sager
We all read it, but we don't take anything you say seriously - Luke Kasten

RIP WheatonC

YES...the new one is out in many places. Its animated (where TMNT belongs IMHO) I didn't think the live action ones held a candle to the carton back in the day...

FEAR THE TURTLE!

When was thier last conference win?

I don't know anything about those turtles, but anybody that can couple a Goethe  and an e.e. cummings quote, Wow. Impressive I may have to rethink my wheaton opinions, or is it California?

Also, thank you Gregory for fixing my prior post

Strengths/Weaknesses: Good Coaching: Rucks and his staff field a competitive group of physical players year in and year out.  They play every game with a physical tempo that on the other side has lead to some dumb penalties (personal fouls against NCC from my own experience have absolutly sunk them in close games)

3 of thier 6 all conference performers will be seniors next year (the other three were OL). Thier QB will be back who has decent numbers (mid 60's completion %) 8 TD's and some decent rushing yardage.  They definetly have some talent returning, but it is from a team that went 6-4 and they lost alot of talent too

They need to rebuild thier offensive line after graduating thier best players at that position (Ryan Glassman)  They lost Mengel thier big back (6'4'' 220) to graduation and they need to improve the performance of thier skill positions...honestly when the Tailgaters (both Son of and the Original) and Redmen come around they can answer more specifically on these questions. I just don't want you to feel ignored

After reading a lot of past posts, looks like my son has made a good choice to attend Carthage in the fall.  Looks like a good group of coaches.

Good luck to him...you really cannot go wrong with the CCIW in terms of solid academics and competitve football play...any given saturday one of these teams can win against the other with the level of talent. I know some may count NPU out...I know I do at times, but thats another series of posting.

What are his stats? Height Weight H.S.?? If you don't mind...totally up to you
