It's good to see former players get involved by forming a booster club.  I also think programs like this will help develop recruiting relationships with area high schools:

The previous coach used to hold 7 on 7's on thier old field as well, although it wasn't nearly as impressive as it looks now, in fact it was kind of a detractor as a high school senior.  With the new facilities things like this are a real boost.

I would personally go either all blue or all white because the pants don't continue the stripe pattern in the jersey...but thats just one man's eye.

As far as the north park uniform goes i agree with ncc, all blue or all white is better to my eye

Personally I don't like all the swooshes and piping and all that on any uniform.  I still don't like the Wheaton jersey/pants combo.  The big W on the Helmet is ok though.

As far as the NP uni's go, I gotta join the consensus-all blue or all white.

interestingly, Augie also returns 15 starters from last years team. 8 on offense and 7 on defense, the same as the thunder. also, like the thunder, they return their entire offensive line.

I love season previews.  They let you know who to be looking for, plus they are all highly enthusiastic.  However, just once it would be funny to see, "The Swamp Monsters (not a real team or based off of one) are sure to stink it up again this year, that's why anyone can get a game day pass for free.  The captain was chosen by the coach because he is the coach's favorite, not because of any type of football skill or respect from his teammates.  Leading returnees Player A, Player B, and Player C would be lucky to play JV at any other school."

As far as the NP uni's go, I gotta join the consensus-all blue or all white.

Count me as one vote against NPU wearing the all-blue uni. I hate it. I've always felt that it makes the Vikings look like giant blueberries (or Oompa Loompas). Also, as a traditionalist I put a lot of stock in the fact that a colored jersey and white pants combo constitutes the classic old-school look for a football team.

Well considering NPU got rolled all over the field last year I'm not surprised they don't want to appear too much like a small round piece of fruit...or a snotty kid from C & TCF.

I don't mean to be too harsh. I think NPU could really "right the ship" if you will, so long as the administration supports the coaching staff and they contine to improve the campus...Nowhere to go but up.
