Interception by Wheaton in their endzone to halt a big drive by Hope.

2 INT's and 4 sacks by the Wheaton defense in the 1st half.

21 - 7 Wheaton at the half.

Wow... Ittersagen and Studebaker are special players.

Ittersagen's 1st punt return was 34 yards.  He just took another one back 70+ yards - although it was called back on a penalty.  Still... instead of taking a fair catch, he caught the punt with someone all over him, broke the tackle, reverse all the way across the field and took it home.  Wow...

I just turned on the game.  Agree - Ittersagen and Studebaker are special players.  I don't know if I've ever seen a D3 defensive end get off the ball with more explosion than Studebaker.  And Intersagen, he just finds a way to make plays.

Wheaton is rushing better this game.  Hard to believe Rowson can make such a difference.

How good is Hope's rush defense?  Wheaton seems to be passing the ball pretty well to open up the run.

I was not surprised to see Hope being competitive.  The Manning to VanEerden connection has been good so far tonight for the Dutchman.  Studebaker looks much better tonight.  I was encouraged with Rocky Gingg.  He seemed to be a good power runner.  He might be the good change of pace back Wheaton is looking for.

What a big difference with Rowson in there!

Bradley looks very comfortable in the pocket.  Is he a sophmore or Junior?

Hope is letting up 300+ yards a game passing and 170+ yards on the ground.  Wheaton is gashing them pretty well right now.

No hope for Hope tonight.

Pete Ittersagen looks almost as good as the Mad Swede as the gunner on the punting unit.
