I PUT MY ANSWER IN THE WRONG SPOT!  The answer is:  "A Few Good Men".  Do I loose my Karma and +Karma for posting in the wrong place?

Did you know that Kenny Loggins is also the voice of the "Real Men of Genius" commercials!  If I ever needed a lifeline on a gameshow, I would have to put you guys on my list!

I thought it was CardinalAlum, until I remembered he is a soprano.

Last year, weren't you consistently ripping Augie for not opening up the offense and throwing the ball?  Now they do with little success and you call for the coach's head?  I think you need to make up your mind, dude.

If the offense is opened up and the ball being thrown at the wrong time, this is STILL bad coaching.  I do not see this as needing to make up my mind - I see this as a continuation that the coaches for Augie are inept.

Also, did not mean to imply that Wheaton and North Central did not deserve to win.   As I have stated in the past, CCIW is gratefully becoming more competitive.   However, Augie is staying static, which is a contributing factor to parity in the conference.

Quote from a website about Kenny:   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenny_Loggins

Biography
Loggins was born in Everett, Washington and raised in Alhambra, California. The early 70s found him in the band "Gator Creek" with Mike Deasy. An early version of "Danny's Song" (later recorded by Loggins and Messina) was included on this effort on Mercury Records. Two covers are featured as well, Jackson Browne's "These Days" and "Don't Try to Lay no Boogie Woogie on the King of Rock and Roll" which was made famous by Long John Baldry. Loggins is perhaps best known for his recent work singing the Real Men of Genius songs.

I am checking into whether or not they posted bad info!  Sorry!

I think Wikipedia is incorrect.  You can tell its not Kenny Loggins' voice.  Maybe he produced them or something.

OK here's an 80's trivia for you

Lucas (1986) was filmed at Glenbard West HS in Glen Ellyn, IL

Which High School's football team was the team featured in the movie?

Which High School's band was featured in the movie?

Both are IHSA suburban High Schools.

Breakfast Club was filmed at Maine North which was closed not that long after the movie.

Mugsy and CardinalAlum, when not competing on the gridiron, would get their crews together and have some pretty epic showdowns.  See the action here.

Carthage Fan you have the BAND right!  Congrats... but the football team is wrong.  Most assume it is/was the Glenbard West FB team, but that is incorrect.  I will let a few more people try and answer before revealing the correct answer.  Nice job on the band though!

1986 I was in kindergarten and for Halloween I dressed up as Jim McMahon wearing my plastic BEARS helmet and good old #9 jersey.  To this day, My hockey jersey is #9.  Ah great memories growing up in the 80's.  ;D

A few years back when Carthage was struggling with the NCAA as far as the mascot goes they thought about a mascot change.  Here was one of their options.  However, the NCAA still had a problem with that logo and suggested that this should be their logo instead.

And a chicken (with or without feathers} has what to do with the Red Men name ??? If you need to follow a post with an explanation for your intended humor of that post, maybe you should defer comedy to others.

By the way, the logo had 2 feathers not several as you infer. Check the logo you posted. Yes I gave you -K for lame humor.
