just commenting on the 370 yards a game on defense.  defense is not as bad statistically as it appears at first glance.  The plus 500 against Wabash was legit as the Little Giants passed all over the field that day (set all-time WC record as well).

Pass protection appears strong but I dont recall a lot a lot of blitzing as the QB is mobile and the threat of a draw, etc. Most teams just play a zone and try to force FC to "dink and dunk"  I am not sure on defensive schemes faced or not faced to be honest.

NCC is going to be every bit as tough a test as Wabash was and I expect it to be very close.  Turnovers may be the primary deciding factor.

When does the All-conference meeting take place?  Isnt it this week?

I believe it takes place on the Tuesday after the regular season by conference call.

I guess we can pretty much agree on anything right now after this great weekend for NCC football. 

How many other Cardinal fans (or other posters) are going to make the trip to Franklin this week?

With a victory, coupled with a UWW win,  we would be traveling to UWW the next week? or playing a home game?

Having made that brutal trip as a player...I can assure you that i will not be attending.

Little known fact:

former Head Football Coach at Wheaton, J.R. Bishop is a Franklin College grad and is in the Franklin HOF I believe. Was a running back for them before he started his distinguished coaching career in the Indiana HS system, went to Naperville Central (where he coached Sean Peyton of the NO Saints and Keith Bishop from Wheaton College) and on to Wheaton College.

My laptop does that to me also.  Its usually when I have something really insightful to post, my fat fingers hit the key that does that.  Only when I am posting bad humor, and innnuendo...no chance of deleting (except by Pat).

Wow what a finish to the CCIW season! Congrats to NP Sat. on there effort, they played hard the entire game and are 100% improved over 1 year ago. If they progress like that again next year they will surely get more than 1 conference win. Congrats to NCC and IWU for there share of the conference title. Both teams are deserving. I can't help but think how good Wheaton would have been with only half the injuries they had to play through this year. IMO they would have not only made the playoffs they would have advanced far. I also look forward to adding some new posters now that some seniors are no longer playinfg for their schools.

Word of advice from someone who has done the exact same thing more times than I care to admit... though it is not due to having something insightful to post.   

If you are posting something that will take time and effort, use a non-web centric editor to write out and format what you want to say and then copy it over into a post.

Often I'll use Microsoft Word or NotePad (whatever).  When my mindless drivel has been put down in Word, then I transfer it over.
