Redman 04 Is MY DADDY  ok you are on your own now.  You have lived up to your part of the bargain.  You may start fresh with 0 Karma.  Good luck to you .

P.S.  Hey tell us what you think of Kevin Burris
Ha Ha

That was my goal this off-season as I've never experienced the positive side of K. ::)  In hindsight, it's probably best not to open up into the board with such an argument, no matter what the statistical evidence says. ;)  Although, please keep in mind, I did show Dante Washington love.  Anyway, a little humbling can go far and now, I am better friends with the Redmen for it. :D

Okay, so only 265 Days or 37 weeks and 6 Days until I can change my screen name (Wheaton vs. Carthage – November 15th).  Or, will there be another bet before then? :P

While "googling" on another unrelated topic, I stumbled on another Florida recruit committed to Millikin.  Anthany "Spud" Wingo.

I guess you haven't of the QB at DePauw for the last 2 years-- His name is Spud Dick.

My son played for a Private school in Maitland, FL just 5 minutes North of Orlando.

You can find a highlight video of Spud Wingo here.  Nice touch with the photo of him holding the Millikin helmet.

Almost anything would be a way better name than Spud Dick.

In fact, I'd rather go through life named REDMAN04 IS MY DADDY! (caps and exclamation point included) than Spud Dick. ;)

Very true.   Maybe I'll switch to something Cardinal related this fall...

Slightly off topic, but how about the names of these 2 teammates from West Virginia?  Apparently during the game, the announcers jokingly said they shouldn't sit next to each other - but they did.

It wasn't too long ago that kids left naperville and wheaton to come to millikin.  And decatur is not a bad place,,I guess if you want to spend your whole life sheltered then live at home with your parents and stay in naperville.

Wow... CardinalAlum hit a nerve there.  Or should I say severed a nerve?

First of all, I'm sure CardinalAlum does live with his parents.  :P

But I find it hard to believe most people would prefer Decatur over the western suburbs of Chicago.  Yes I know it is a matter of taste, but the difference in population between Decatur vs. western suburbs might shine a bit of light on this.

Decatur (and surrounding area) - about 125,000
Western suburbs - somewhere around a million or so

I guess if you want to live on the edge, in a carnival atmosphere, where the fun never ends, Decatur is the place.  :-\ ::)
